One of the greatest appearances of Gilbert when the Stern show was actually funny. He will make me laugh forever. He would have been 69 today. RIP Gilbert.

I think Howard gave us just the right amount of Gilbert.
I do love his podcast and his appearance on Norm Macdonald's podcast was hilarious.
Gilbert was too good for this trash show, especially in those days. I know they bagged on his career a lot but he was doing good and could probably make more money just as a working comedian and actor without having to play second fiddle to Howard. Jackie had no real career before joining Howard and Artie's career was pretty much DOA when he joined the show, so neither of them had anything to lose. Gilbert is an iconic comedian who did voices in Disney movies and probably gets huge residuals.
