After 3 years of Entagma's tutorial about this effect, finally Geometry Nodes can do this without any code. 🔥
Simply amazing. Im still a little doubtful about jumping into geometry nodes, should learn some other stuff first... I think? Or maybe i should just start experimenting with it. Could i ask what are your computer specs? Just for reference on performance, like i'm expecting my computer to not to lit on fire... Like every time that i try to use volumes on cycles 🎉 (still can't get those volumes to work as i want, most surely i'm the problem 😂).

great skills, great effect. But I think that as far as GN is concerned, sharing is more about explaining each nodes with examples that explaining a given effect to a large majority of people who don't know every nodes implied in your process. At least you should mention the prerequisites. Not very usefull for myself .

That is because those parts are instances. Instances have to be converted into regular geometry (using the realize instances node) so that they will still exist after the modifier is applied.
