      Thank you, I'm glad the video was helpful. In vray you can try out the Antialiasing filter, image sample settings, and Noise limit (The render quality slider should take care of this for you). An easier way would be to use Photoshop. Check out the camera raw filter, there are settings to sharp your renders and remove noise :)

      I dont always like my denoise results and work with other render channels in photoshop, you can mask out vray denoiser from the reflections. Work with RGB and reflection channels in photoshop. You can also do noise reduction im photoshop. Hope that helps, I'll keep you updated if i find better solution 😊

    Hi,
    Thank you for the tutorial. Easy to understand and follow.
    I was facing a little problem in creating and rendering textured glass though, in your render the gradient texture you created through bump materials is coming out really well. The lines are really good, Sharp and clearly visible but not the same with me, the line are very feebly visible and only strongly visible at the part where the sphere is directly behind the glass. What can be the problem?

    • @TN3DStudio
      @TN3DStudio  4 роки тому +1

      Thank You, I'm glad the video helped. Mmm not sure if i understand 100%, But its best to test textured Glass in a interior set up so the material reacts to its surrounding. Try having more objects behind the glass besides just the sphere. Let me know if that helped, Feel free to ask if you have any questions :)

    Great video and all well explained. I used different V-ray glass materials for a front window in a car. All glass-types gave a distotion effect when you looked from the front through the window inside the car. The chairs looked distorted. I tried the glass on a simple curved object (the window) and I thickened the window with Joined push-pull from Fredo6. What causes the distortion and how to fix it?

    • @TN3DStudio
      @TN3DStudio  4 роки тому +1

      Thanks Richard and my apology for the late reply. I did a bit of trial and error (hopefully i got it right), I only had refraction issues when the "front faces" were reversed (if back face faces camera). So my only advice for now will be to make sure all your faces face outward and the back faces are clear of any material. Especially the parallel surfaces of your glass, both front faces must face outwards. I hope this helps, I'll be sure to make this clear on part 2 of this tutorial :) Cheers!

    • @richardvankesteren7013
      @richardvankesteren7013 4 роки тому +1

      Thank you! make sure you are following all the steps. Especially the Scene set up and have a dome light for your reflections. You can use my sketchup file here : tn3dvisualization.com/tutorials/createvrayglass

      Greetings from Ecuador, I love your videos even though I don't know much English. Could you help me to configure the scene to practice the configuration of the different glasses and colors, I wish that at the time of the test I was realistic

      This will be very interesting to figure out. 🤔 maybe the solution is in using multi-layers. I'll try a few things and let you know :)

    Hi! Can I ask something? I'm an Architecture student and I would like to know, How to create the surrounding that reflects on the glass? Thank you so much!

      Thanks for the comment Stephen :). Hopefully i understand your comment. Glass will always capture whats in your model, so make sure that the model is well done... You can use a plugin like skatter to spread trees around etc. You can also use a nice HDRI as a dome light. :)

    This tutorial is amazing! But I have a question, how can I make a white gradient? I have tried but the program takes it as if it were transparent.
    The effect I want is a white glass that is losing transparency. Thank you.

    Hello! thanks for the video. I followed every step you explained but my gradient glass doesn't show in the render. What can be the problem?

    • @TN3DStudio
      @TN3DStudio  4 роки тому +1

      Thank you, Glad i could help :). for Gradient Glass You must use the "Gradient procedural" inside Fog color slot. If your able to create a clear glass, this should be a simple step. :) let me know if that works

      Thank you for your response. It turned out be an issue with gpu. When i switched my render option to cpu grandient effects showed up.
