I entirely agree: Hahn is the greatest violinist in the world, by virtue of the unique contact of bow and string, a virtue all the old violinists had: Heifetz, Milstein, Oistrakh, etc, regardless of their individual sound otherwise. I am not even mentioning perfect intonation and musicianship..... Since no-one else commands this today, she is also the ONLY great violinist in the world
