Hi, E FALANDO NISSO; thank you for your comment. You are commenting on a video regarding an old version of the NEJE app that won't work with your NEJE 3 Max. The NEJE 3 Max comes with a door feature which is relative to the emergency button they provide. This feature will send feedback and prevent the machine from operating. Are you using the Emergency button? If yes, please ensure that it is not active, i.e., not pushed. If not, check if something is not shorting the 2-pin contact where is a written door. If you are trying to engrave SVGs, you will first need to convert them into gcode format, NEJE accepts .nc and there are a few plug-ins that can be added to Inkscape for that. I have an old video covering that ua-cam.com/video/-Pey3dclFpA/v-deo.html, Alternatively, you may want to switch to LaserGRBL, which is free and can read SVGs natively without the hassle of converting the format. Hello. I have a Master 2 S. Whenever I connect to the Window software or the Android App my Master 2S tries to Home in it slides to a point and begins making a loud noise. It is followed by the Program saying they're may be something wrong with my machine. But I don't get this problem in Lightburn. Anyone have any tips to fix this or is there something actually wrong with my machine? Thanks in advance.
Hello Maddox Thorne, thank you for your comment. I haven't had such problem but I can try t troubleshoot for you. The loud noise is due to the belt skipping because the axis its at its end stroke, did you check if axis are touching the limiting switch at the end of the stroke, there might be the wiring harness of the laser module in the way and it does not allow the axis to touch the tiny button informs the software that the machine is homed. The reason why it would not make it with Lightburn, could be due to the homing speed of the axis, paraphs the Neje app s a bit more jerky and the cable get trapped down. Let me know. Ciao
@@MiddleRoomWorkshop Thanks for the reply. So after inspection, I noticed that the switch on the rail that the laser itself is connected to is loose and getting stuck in. Is there a way to make the button stay out ? Or get that board be replaced? Really appreciate the help.
Hello Maddox Thorne, thank you for your comment. Well, that is definitely a faulty button, therefore I would first try on get it replaced by the seller. If the seller does not want to do that, then I can suggest you to find someone that can de-solder and replace it for you. These push buttons are really cheap and quite easy to replace from the PCB. In the Neje application, the speed setting is the so-called Burning Time, which corresponds to the fastest speed the machine can reach when set to its minimum. Excellent video. I missed the name of software you suggested at the end. Not light burn. It was something else. With the NEJE software I can’t get anywhere close to the size I need. Only allows me a small size and I can’t adjust the dimensions. If I give it a height it automatically sets the length. Is this a limitation of the software?

The software you refer at may be LaserGRBL here I got a video about it ua-cam.com/video/K70yVEUCeu0/v-deo.html But if you wish to use Inkscape, than you will need to export the file using another extension called JTP ua-cam.com/video/dHGqdWA6-F4/v-deo.html In regards to the issue with the dimensions, yes, that is a limitation of the software unfortunately. LaserGRBL is not that hard to learn, you just need to try a bit playing around with it. The software uses gcode type of files like .gcode and .nc, while CAD files are .dxf or .dwg. I hope it helps. If you are using the newer Desktop App for the third series of machines, unfortunately, Neje has removed the option for vector or Gcode altogether I recommend you switch to LaserGrbl; it will allow you to do almost everything you need. You can use any rotary jig with any machine, however sometimes, depending on the brand, you need a cable adapter, which normally ships with it. If you are willing to engrave mainly cylindrical objects, then the roller is enough, while if you want to do some mugs with the handle or other shapes, a chuck is better.
