I can't believe how amazing these guys are! Their musical prowess is unparalleled.
Just scrolled through the comments section. Here's the summary:
"Sounds like a series of exercises played to fast metronome"
"Boring and Ibanez guitars have become WAY over priced"
"Gee, I love typewriters as a drum track"
"Send me a guitar and I'll write you guys real riffs."
Sounds like we have composer, a drummer and 2 guitarists who think they are "better". You guys should form a band.
This wasn't their best song in 2014 and they evolved a thousandfold since but damn if that movement at 3:22 doesn't get you pumped then you might have a defect.
You forgot "people summing up comments" eheh. By the way I think this is still their best song and I liked lucid collective much more than their newer album
‘ThErE’s No FeEl!’, coming from guys who can barely strum a few barre chords simultaneously.
3:22 is why I love this song. Pure gold
It kind of blows my mind that people like you get mad at negative comments
The usual issue with some of the most formally skilled tech-grind guitarists is their abusing their capacities to maximize the empty intensity of their noise. While these cats are playing a style that is inherently abrasive and indulgent, they know how it ought to be done. They're obviously killer soloists, but focus is squarely on making the constant arpeggios and time signature shifts flow through tight riffs and concentrated rhythms. The elegant chords, the precise fingering, the clean high notes, the harmony. There's finesse to their musical acrobatics, and if you can get past, or indeed love the divisive tone, this is truly something to behold. Take some notes, shredders, and learn how to write while you're learning to play.
Bollocks. They want to create an extreme technical style and they have done it better than anyone i've seen. They are trying to push boundaries. Just enjoy it for what it is and stop think it's cool to be contrary.
@@operationmindfuck7145 only problem is not many other bands compare anymore... blessing and a curse
STAY TECH
YEAH TOBI! I used to work with that guy. Awesome dude. We had a lot of good laughs.
What kinda of work was this just curious?
@@shanelarsen695 hooking
Sick as all Hell! Hope to hear way more from these guys
Can we get a bass playthrough for this song?
This was absolutely fucking beautiful
If only I could play half as well as just one of them. Fucking awesome.
Thank you guys for existing
Today I think i finally got into Archspire. They are indeed hard to digest!
Nice! These guys need to tour with spawn of possession!
Bringthecowpants yes but they should headline
A band with a guitarist with 8 strings and use al off these strings is rare xd anyway you guys are the perfection in guitar playing
please do more. i love you guys
Mozart's of metal.
brutal
These guys are crazy. I wish I could play like them.👍
The most talented metal band I have ever heard 💯
So good
Everybody is entitled to their opinions and personal taste but if you don't think these guys are amazing musicians you're stupid. Sorry. Typewriter as a drum track? You know nothing. Give it a try yourself and see how you do. I dare you. Just saw these guys play this past Sunday night with Beyond Creation and Obscura. Probably the best concert and most amazing display of musical skill I have ever witnessed in over 20 years of going to metal concerts. \m/_(-_-)_\m/
You can't go from saying everyone is entitled to their opinion and then call them stupid if they dont think these guys are good
Not exactly my favorite genre of metal, but holy crap you are guys are sick! Nothing but respect. It takes an insane amount of dedication and talent to develop that kind of skill.
This is solid gold.
These dudes are jamming!
This is a sick song dude it’s insannnne
It's like One Archspire song has as many notes as all he songs I currently know.
Nice! Upload more!!
Damm
Primeiro minuto mal começou e já me arrepio todo! O-O this is ...amazing!
I dig it!
definitely sweet
4:59 I wish I could see what he does to make that note fly away like that at the end
It's just a pinch harmonic
two sons of chuck ! ! in my opinion ! waiting to buy the next album...
Intro song?
JusTVIDSE Scream Feeding
Lots of modes and scales, even some arpegios. Its all refreshing.
if only I could dislike dislikes
It's intense. Yes, this much. Deal with it.
That 7 string though
That 3:25 tho
This sounds really stressful to learn by ear
scale-core? XD
It's better if you play the video at Speed 2 in the video options 👍
It is actually better :O
David Luis Not really.
+Anthony Haller its a joke u weenie
Omnipresent
Okay?
I personally can give less of a shit . Good or bad like or don't .. Archspire, you've gotta come back to the valley CA! Stay tech n shit
lol
Steve Vai said you guys are cute!
Actually gets good at 1:30! (Kind of...)
Gee, I love typewriters as a drum track
No that's a real drummer, and he's very good.
+DevonEwyMusic either way, I wish the drums sounded less synthetic
Synthetic?
go see them live lol
Igloo Dweller I just did a few nights ago. Best show I've been to in the 8 years I've listened to music, they played all their bangers plus some new songs!
So much better without the vocals 💯
This band is perfect without that vocalist
Band is so amazing just get rid of the vocals all the time
I am unimpressed with all these "playthroughs" lately that are just pretending to play over the studio backing track
We should all hope to "pretend" with that much skill and precision. I'm sure the world would get a good laugh out of what passes for impressive to someone like you.
@@w1984t a child playing Mary had a little lamb on a kazoo is more impressive than some fake ass pretend bullshit.
@@sqlb3rn Sounds nothing like the studio track. Tones and mixing are completely different, you’re talking out of your ass.
@@GravelordNEETo sounds exactly like a studio track, about as edited and quantized as it gets. just because it's not the mix on the album doesn't mean it's an authentic playthrough. keep smoking crack, magic tricks are more fun when you believe they're real.
@@sqlb3rn At least they play live most likely better than you can
Sounds like a series of exercises played to fast metronome...
+Perpetual Paralyzis (godslayer) zing!
Those guitars were quite ugly
Is this supposed to music to enjoy... Or a typewriter and drum simulator?
Ha! Typewriter as drum track. That's great. Now I can't not hear it.
I personally hate that drum sound
Glen Meye I actually like it nice poppy snare.
Anthony Haller same I like a nice ping. My favorite snare is a piccolo snare my personal preference. I absolutely love archspire so emotional and inspirational, to me they are a standard of metal and Mozart would be pleased :)
Ibanez, why can't you endorse someone good. Send me a guitar and I'll write you guys real riffs.
+Dystopia1980 been there done that, played music that involved much more intricacy and attention to detail. You could not possibly fathom the level of dexterity and creativity which became my standard. Welcome to the internet you piece of shit. We've been out here cuz.
onuj you might say he couldn't Fathom The Infinite Depth of your playing abilities ;)
There's No way a person with your arrogance and attitude could even hold these guys' jock.
This onuj guy has some pretty garbage opinion
onuj shut up you proabably can only play Smoke on the Water...
Boring and Ibanez guitars have become WAY over priced......go Ltd
Subjective opinion is subjective.
Truth is truth,Ibanez has become too gimmicky with special toy effects built into guitars & stuff.....I have some 20 yr old rg's & s series models but the last 5 yrs they've been slacking. My 20 yr old rg has a wizard 2 neck & they say the new ones do too but they are definitely not the same specs. The neck specs of the old rg are premium now.....rip off
Watch the scream feeding play through and you'll see the new guitars!!!! NOT ibanez!
Tuning please?
Standard
***** Okay so BEADgbe and FBEADgbe?
Anthony Haller One guitarist uses a seven and the other an eight, but they don't play the f string.
for what does he need 8 strings then?
He is clearly playing the 8th string and it's tuned to an F# if it's standard tuning.
