Can You tell me if I can make a Mustang or other Ford horn switch work with my 1972 Mark IV? There doesn't seem to be one for my model on the market. I have a two spoke wheel and I have already discarded the speed control anyway.
I feel pretty sure that the Mark IV is the same wheel as the Mustang in 1972. The big difference is the wood grain. SO, parts for the Mustang will fit the Mark IV.
I just installed the rim blow strip and it does not work. I am so disappointed! 😖 these strips are so expensive for what they are and it doesn't work! Just venting.
Can anyone tell me how the chrome boot holder piece is mounted on a 65 Mustang convertible? I know it mounts behind the back seat but does the holder face forward or backwards for the boot rubber piece to sit in it? Thank you
I did one of those on a '70 Mach 1 last year. Gimmicky design, not hard to see why the rim blow never really caught on. Also easy to see why power steering was mandatory with that option.

Sorry about that!
