- Courtney's delivery has changed quiet a bit over the years, and Spiritbox is certainly not the same band they were back in 2017. Too Close Too Late brings everything back home for me. Especially in the second half! Let's talk about how great this new song is!

That chorus effect was a harmony of Josh, Mike and Courtney.

This song leads in to Angel Eyes. Great song. If you like the vibe of Too Close/Too Late, you'd like Ultraviolet.
I keep coming back not just for the priceless insight into the vocal techniques but just the sheer passion you truly have for music. Really love the videos

A lot of people say this is the most "radio" track of the EP but I keep listening to it even more than Ultraviolet. It's really the Post-Rock Black-Gaze vibes that do it for me. Hoping for a Draconian style track from them at some point.

In case no one told you, this whole EP flows from one track to the next. I think you would really enjoy it.
This may be my favorite song on the EP. That part after Courtney goes into her higher register absolutely gives me HUGE astronoid vibes (who are incredible and one of my favorite bands in metal right now). Simply an amazing track

You should do Cellar Door. Let’s just say it would be more appropriate for the channel. ;) I love this song though. That ending is one of my favorite moments on the album. If you want more beautiful/Shoegazy stuff Ultraviolet is also amazing and the video is really cool, or if you want smash Cellar Door and Angel Eyes are the heaviest songs they’ve done since Holy Roller (if not ever!).
This song rips so hard! Easily one of my faves in their discography! Every instrument, including Courtney, shines in this song!
I really like your in depth technicality of explaining in your reaction. Not too many people do this and you defintely know your stuff. I love how Courtney sings I just found out about this band 2 days ago and this was the 1st song I heard of them and was instantly hooked it's so good. I went back and listened to some of their older music too and enjoy it as well got a new fan.

At this point… just do a reaction/analysis to Lantlôs! Coma or Bloody Lips and Paper Skin might be the best to approach vocally, but I honestly love when you give your thoughts/opinions/breakdown of songs and music overall (not just vocals) so anything from .neon or agape would get clicks. The people wanna see it, Mark!
I'm really happy with what Spiritbox is doing, I've never been the guy that likes heavy on heavy on heavy, but they bounce back and forth (whether in one song or between songs) from super heavy to melodic and that's the perfect blend for me. I like the energy the heavy songs have, but I really like to just float around on the melody too.

The whole EP is one long song. Cellar Door sounds like Rivers of Nihil and Kardashev had a demon baby. The atmosphere alone is worth triple-paying for the album.

i started to skip when you were talking about skipping intros lol.
I LOVE the new EP, but I have to admit, this is probably my least fav from it. That just means it's slightly less spectacular then the rest, lol. I personally think Ultraviolet is tops right behind Jaded on this EP. A LOT of people are reacting to Too Close/Too Late though. Which is a shame because I got such goosebumps listening to Ultraviolet the first time.
It's the most spectacular track on the EP.
