    Sir Zason
Now I am going to say to you that you are such a noble musician I have never witnessed in UK Tube channel. Why I am commenting such remarks about you is the reason that most of the piano tutor in u tube channel opens up their channel and sufacedly they touch the lessons to be done in very brief time only to draw attractions for finding students whom they teach piano in exchange of fees of course except for some of tutors. You are such a tutor who doesn't seek on line students but only self consoled and satisfied by spreading piano techniques freely .Your free tutorials has benefitted a lot to me and I am learning a lot free of cost.Had you not provided such series of free tutorials I couldn't proceed further although I have some sense of music in me and I am also a singer . literally You are really genius noble and kind-hearted musicians.I know you have online packages for learning piano or other instrument you can play where more materials in depth of music world is available which I am not in a position to afford .But what you are providing the materials freely wholeheartedly with the object of spreading music is enough enough for me and I will remain ever grateful for you till my death .you please accept me your free coaching student out of numerous student in the world and take my regards please.Goutam Mitra 69 yrs old.

Thank you, Jason for this very helpful tutorial. I can see already many benefits to this approach. I'm an old guy who is trying to re-learn the piano that I left off as a beginner decades ago as a youngster. I'm one of those guys who "can't walk and chew gum at the same time" so if nothing else, this lesson will help me in that area. Thanks again!

Another Great Great Great lesson! You make easy work out of sophisticated melodies. Your choice of chord progression is also so good that multiple repetitions lead to trance like state, rather than sounding boring.
Most important thing in this video is beyond music... Your method of explanation is very soothing, yet it keeps the listener attentive... as he is waiting for more wonderful tips to unfold. I wish all teachers in world become like you. I sense there is a very noble person behind all this. God bless you Jason Sir!

One point I would like to be clear about is : I understand from the key signature shown that this arppegio piece is on the key of D. But isnt it mandatory to start the progression on the tonic chord? Thank you.

You could follow a descending bass line Steve. They call it a "Line Cliche". For example, you could play

When you anounce the chords it would help if you tell i which key or scale you are playing. I had to figure out and i guess is D major. Correct?

@@nathanielschool I will look at them all...I love this kind of arpeggios... And you are a great teacher... but when you announce a chord progression it will help of you tell in which key or scale you are. Because then I can go and make more chords... Thanks.. And keep it up...

I know this is probably going to be an odd question.. Curious on your hand span? It feels like I have short stubby hands at a 9" span stretching octaves. Yours floats so easy - maybe it's experience, haha.

I play Bass and Guitar John. Maybe that helps. Also, I used my wrist a lot to stretch an extra inch or so

Hi Jason, in harmonizing E dorian , can we play C ( in place of C#) in the left hand bass ? although it's sounding good.

Of course Arijit! An interplay between the 3 minor scales - Natural, Harmonic and Dorian always serves the music well :)

You have just cost me a fortune in ship repairs as this lesson has blown it clean out of the water and across an entire continent.

Wow, Brett, I had no idea my lessons had such a far-reaching impact! I promise to be more careful in the future and keep the explosions to a minimum. But seriously, I'm thrilled to hear that the lesson resonated with you so strongly. It's always great to receive positive feedback and know that my hard work is paying off. Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts, Brett. I appreciate it more than you know!

Hello, why play a C in the bass when C is not in the E Dorian scale?

I'm probably mixing up a lot of minor scales Jani. Watch my lesson on "Hybrid Minor" - ua-cam.com/video/KNIvbJK7YWo/v-deo.html
