i LOVEEE your loadout options, genuinely, the drill is actualy so useful for regaining hp over time if you're close, AND IT INCREASES THE DISTANCE IIRC! drill is such an underrated weapon, it has so much potential :sob:
screw definitely has potential, but imo its mostly overshadowed by the other railcannons. in a situation like this, where i intentionally limited my loadout, i can actually make great use of it, and it plays a huge role in making this challenge not a living hell. you are correct that it increases healing distance, but usually this isn't needed unless you're taking heavy damage and are on a difficulty where hard damage isn't an issue. for me, screw is useful in the way that its like an srs cannon that can chain to multiple enemies indefinitely. like how i used it in the idoled stalker room; it was the best option for me to take those out quickly and efficiently, and *could* honestly be a viable strat without having a limited loadout. but usually in most rooms, a railcoinadd or core nuke gets you more value. also its good to use against mindflayers if you are having trouble dealing with their teleportation, as it halts that completely.
@@9dash the last part is so damn accurate, it just makes dealing with mindflayers and other shit easier to do, and as a matter of fact, i beat minos prime only using the red shotgun, the alt blue minigun, and the screwdriver/drill cannon!
you would be right except i decided not to count the fists as weapons for this challenge. if i did that then i'd only have the knuckleblaster and that sounds like absolute hell
@@estecanalnoexistedesde it honestly wasnt too bad. i did one run beforehand with many deaths to learn how to get through the rooms with such a limited arsenal, and then on my next run i somehow p ranked it.
