Formula Supra Brembo Brake Kit, New Carbon look.

- It's SupraSunday and we are back at it getting the car another step closer. The Brembo GT-S brake kit showed up and Dom wasted no time making new front brackets that are lighter. Our homie Kusi gives the Carbon a new look and I think it looks incredible. It is now exactly how we pictured the carbon to be on the car. Stoooooked! Hope you guys enjoy.

Ryan Tuerck is a professional driver competing in Formula D. He is a motorsport enthusiast, including motorcross, supercross; who is more of a mechanic than a driver. Tuerck'ing cars is serious business!
This is the best car series on UA-cam right now. Domspec is off the charts!
If you like this then check out project binky ;)
@@BenGi551 Are they ever going to finish the mini?
Yeah bro agree😍🤩
@@BenGi551 I was legit about to say it’s between them two
it really is
I knows he's concentrating, but sometimes I think Dom wants to murder Tuerck 😂.
Can be both. Haha
Dom has that unibomber aire of mystery
It's kinda annoying tbh. Idk if there's beef between them or he just doesn't care but he looks mad with the world 24/7
Probably hates a camera in his face while trying to work.
@@Rtechmobile I'm sure he'll be able to get over it when he goes home and takes a nice relaxing bath in ONE HUNDRED DOLLAR BILLS.
I got a feeling that this is gonna be the sickest Supra in the world !
Dom is just ice cold, such an amazing build
Quality build with QUALITY DOCUMENTATION. Almost unheard of. Seriously, the unsung hero of this whole process is how off the charts the documentation is. This is by far my fav build series going on at the moment
Thanks Jake!
I completely agree, obviously an insanely talented fabricator and like someone else said definitely the sickest Supra. But the quality documentation. I’m sure there are sicker builds out there just with no representation, lots of Credit to Tuerck. And obviously tons to Dom
Is this the first time in this series where Dom ACTUALLY wears safety glasses?!
Damn dude... This is my favourite kind of build. I don't actually care that much about the crazy 2,000+hp drag cars or the super over the top visual stuff with bolt on parts.
Turns out what gets me pumped is sweet fab work, attention to detail and crazy craftsmanship. This thing is gonna feel wild with how that engine revs, how light and tight the chassis is gonna be and especially 'cause you know how absolutely perfect the buid quality is on every part. Dream build stuff right here mate!
Honoustly looking at dom's fabrication is so inspirational, in the 80's and 90's we looked at racing cars and dreamed about them, now in these wonderfull times we can actually see how they are build step by step. Also great job on the painting looks awesome in the mat/light satin finish, i painted half my car last year in my driveway with a lplv spray gun, was the first time i painted something that big, it was hard work prepping, painting and paintcorrecting but i got a mirror finish, without dust and barely any paint faults, it's just so satisfying when you see the end results.👍✌️👉
These videos complete my Sunday!
Dat matte carbon is dope af.
Thanks man!
Domspec cannot stop with this build either man lol once this car is done we need to see more of Dom, he needs his own channel
He has his own YT channel. Check out Dominant Engineering, there’s some sick manual machining vids on there.
@@christophermatye8808 thank you! I’m amazed whenever I see the stuff he makes
I'm convinced that when Dom. was born he went straight to the garage to build a baby stroller.
What a build! Can not wait to see this done and hear that engine screaming, great work guys.
When I watched the 4586 series I said that the detail and skill were immense....1 year later, Tuerck surpassed all of it. The customization and detail are mind-blowing. AWSOME BUILD.
Ryan I still super appreciate you guys showing every little peice being made for this build. So informative and entertaining. Btw that matte finish on the carbon was absolutely the right choice!
ryan, i cant thank you enough for these high quality vids, its so inspiring to see your buildquality
one of the only series that I watch in fullscreen and leave the phone alone. cant get enough of this build.
FYI, Do yourself a favor and Helacoil those threaded holes for the brake caliper bracket. With the extreme vibration/heat/etc, threads on aluminum tend to fail when you least expect it. Would also use Nord-Lok washers for any critical vibration bolt element. Look them up, they are very useful.
That matte clear paint on the carbon fiber looks so perfect. I love how it turns to a grey at certain angles and shows the weave in others!
You might want to heli-coil those brake brackets so the threads aren't just aluminum (-8
Second this! Alternatives would be loctite thread-locker or safety wire through the bolt heads, some method of positive retention. At least paint-pen the bolts to check for back-out during race checks. These are in a fairly high-vibration location and are liable to back themselves out over time.
Keensert is the best option. But I second that... especially in 6061.
This is, by far, one of the coolest projects I've ever seen. The fab work is meticulous. The parts list is insane. The satin clear on the carbon is fiiiiiiiiiiiire.
Gotta get this thing on an episode of Most Expensivist with 2Chains!
Absolutely the sickest car on the planet
The hype is starting to get REAL AF!!
Nice to see ppl doing killer job without crazy tools etc gj dom ja kusi 👌
This is one of the only series I look forward to!
ITS SO SIIIICK!!! Dude you guys are killing it.
The best build on the internet as of right now.
The one video update I'm looking forward too..
Ryan, you are the man!
And Dom is without doubt the most skilled person I have ever watched working, what luxury it is to watch this dude work.
Coming from a fellow automotive/motorcycle/aerospace painter, nice job Koozy!
After this build is done. I really want to see Dom drive this after all the work he put in. Amazing build!
There is no doubt he will be shredding some laps in this beast.
@@RyanTuerck that’s awesome to hear! Can’t wait to hear it’s first start and first rips. Thanks for the amazing content! Good luck this year in FD.
judd v10 into a supra is a dream build, can't wait to see it go
The carbon finish looks amazing, love it💯😍👍
Best project series I’ve ever seen, the project it self is amazing and so is the editing and the quality of the work. Thank you so much, can’t wait until next episode
Never missed any of Formula Supra episode, so good to see the build process
Greetings from Ireland, really love this build Ryan / Dom. Especially stuff like the adjustable bellhousing dowels, that's purdy tasty. Half a thousandth of an inch... I bet there's lots of oem stuff wayyyy more off centre than that!
Now this is the supra we all wanted
I get so sad after watching these videos because I know I have to wait another week, but this series has been sensational!
100% on that matte finish! Absolutely Stunning!
This thing is phenomenal!!!
This thing just keeps getting better and better!
I can’t wait to for the top manifold is done god it’s gonna be loud!
Dom needs to smile! My boy is always in the zone absolutely killing it!
I really like the quality production of your videos, Ryan. The content is awesome and the editing is damn good.
Can’t wait to see this car in person!!
Kuzi paint Spec is kinda fire too!
No frikkin doubt dude! He crushed it too.
I think you probably have the best fab guy ever. His attention to detail is awesome 👌🏻
11:12, I see you got the truck now!
That carbon looks ridiculous! 🔥 🔥🔥🔥
My new favorite phrase, "Dom-Spec", I use it every day.
I can’t wait to see this thing finished, it’s looking super sick guys, keep pushing hard!
Definitely gotta find the crank runout on street cars too. It's overlooked but a has a lot of benefits, especially when you're running a junkyard motor.
Really cool to see this step covered, the details are killer in these videos.
Looks absolutely crazy 🔥🤯🔥 can’t wait to see that thing going crazy on the track in the sun 🤤🤤🤤
Epoxy in the Composite panel will yellow in UV light so a good strong UV clear that can bond to epoxy. Not alot will bond to Epoxy, but Epoxy bonds to most things.
That is impressive work, without a CNC
CNC Just makes it easier to make multiple parts of the same design. Most of the times CNC just make it harder, because you need a computer design of the part
If you've ever worked with a lathe, it's actually not that hard, just more labour.
@@gwot what is some real labor is doing some CAD for a single part. It is not needed at all
@@ttiization if you consider clicking away at a computer screen labour, then yeah.
@@gwot not only that. But Dom makes it by hand. If you go for the CNC route you would need mych better measurement. He just eyeball it every now and then, if it doesn't fit he just pass it again on the mill. No need to hassle with computers at the shop
Dom really putting in the most work on this car. Props to Dom 👏👏👏
Paint looks incredible.
Amazing work as always 👏
Man I love this build
such a beast!!
I can’t believe I’m just now finding this series!!!
idk if you can even call this a supra anymore this is just one of the most badass one off builds ever
I often wonder at what point a racecar becomes a unique build and not really the original car anymore. Like this is now a Supra roof, windscreen, and lights with entirely different driveline, suspension geometry, weight distribution, driving position, body panels, etc etc.
holy shit this thing is incredible I love these videos so much
SUPRA looking like the BATMOBIL 😲😲😱
Dom is something else.
That is art work dude 👌🏼👍🏼😃
Dude man this build its so sick !!!! you better bring this thing to Etown man - cant wait to see this beat in person lol - Great job Tuerk/dom
ryan and chris battling to see who can have the cooler party car and im here for it
This just look 🔥 a lot of work went in to this 👏 goes out to the team
Let's go almost 150k you deserve it brotha
Only things I get on UA-cam for for , Formula Supra and the Atlimaniac, Two best builds to me
When is this project expected to finish? Can’t Wait to hear how it sounds.
holy shit, dom is CRACKED at fabrication brother, wow
Can't wait to see the Formula Supra and the Altimaniac in tandem together.
Bro amazing
Can't wait to hear this thing shred
Mindblowing...
Damn that does look good. So just one layer of matte clear and boom
Its also unsprung weight. Which always helps.
damn it looks good matte like that :D
Damn those matt carbon😍looks like a blck car but when you look close it's carbon
The Car is Looking good man!
You know this car is getting beat up once it’s done! 🙌🏽
Might as well do another set of a few pieces.
damn that aluminium part looks so nice
Love this build series! 🤟
GZ !!! thanks for the vid
Was waiting for this 🙌
so rad Thank You 🙏✌️
I’m so about this build
damn i can't wait to see this thing rippin
Love it !! Is there going to be a final fitment and then tear down to coat the unibody/frame ???
Yeah exactly. Still quite a bit of fab left to do then we tear down paint chassis etc.
Man if you could only run it without a wrap and sponsors. So damn nice!
It will be very minimal on branding and livery as we want to keep as much exposed carbon as possible.
I’m not saying that I don’t love the build what so ever because it’s epic and love the content. My only thing is, if your using this to race with and Dom is having to make every single part, when something breaks on track what are you going to do ? Just have tons of custom parts in the trailer ? What if you run out call Dom to make more and wait
I love all the custom parts, but do y’all not worry about needing replacement custom parts on the track?
Custom built right, so it doesn't break.
@@mrolsen6987 crashes still happen
@@griffinsells2611
True. 👍
they say 10k hours makes you a master at something. Dom strike me as the type who master fabrication in half that time but i could be wrong. i wonder how long did it take for Dom to feel like he mastered this skill set.
You're not done learning till you're done breathing.
Damn, no itbs😔. Kidding looks great you guys!
Dom's engineering is definitely more Dominant.
sick paint job!!!
Dom happy: 😐
Dom sad: 😐
Dom overworked, exhausted, and burnt out from welding: 😐
B-E-A-UTIFUL 💯
We want more dude..
