Have been running SB1 as my everything trainer and AP3 for races for the last year and it's been great for me. My SB2's arrived this morning so it looks like I'll continue to be a happy chap for the rest of the year (although I hope the wet grip is substantially improved)
I have both of these shoes and agree 100% with Nick’s comments comparing the two and who might prefer each shoe
Was able to get a pair of Skyward X online for 120$ so hope i like them
For my mechanics, the decision is easy. The Skyward X is more comfortable, cushioned and I feel significantly better in recovery in them vs The Superblast after a long run.
Weight means little to me as their purpose is purely on the long run. I have shoes specifically for workouts or racing.
If you only want one shoe? That's where the Superblast wins because it has a few more teeth across the differing paces.
Absolutely loving my SB2 so far but man I wish I could have got them in that colour way as opposed to the Paris colourway (I know I'm not looking a them when running, but still.......)
The skyward x is 225$ in the us and the sb2 is 200$ in the us
Will you compare these 2 shoes with the NB FF Balos?
Balos is a overpriced shoes
Do you guys ever have problems with your keigles and with a heart rate that goes up to high.
200 dollars for an easy run shoe(Skyward) is just not worth it.
Same goes for the SB, returned mine today. It,s squishy when you pick up the pace.
Why did you return it? Did you have V1?
Skyward X all day for me. Just couldn’t on with the Superblast. Too firm and awkward (for me)
Did you use the superblast 2 or the original I've seen early reviews of superblast 2 that say there's my a ridiculous break in time like with the original
easy one for me....Hoka makes their sizes available in my size 14...Asics are wankers and only go to 13
Yea I'm in the same boat!
Jeez, will Mike *ever* learn to actually address the camera when he's talking to us 🤔?
The SB is really too stiff for a shoe to enjoy running
V1?

You have to break in it need about 100 miles after than it feels a bit softer ...
@@user-sx8rv5pz7u have the V2 coming, hope ( and read) they are comparable to the Invincible 2's (my favorites) but bit less soft, and with more bounce.
