idk if he does it intentionally or not but it seems Kazuya has great expectations from Jin. If it was someone else who had blown up his helicopter, he would've killed them and moved on with his day, but since it's Jin, he goes "What business you have with me?" and amuses himself to a fight. Then he gets disappointed when Jin loses control. He doesn't downright say it but he is subconsciously possessive about Jin. He wants to fight him himself and if push comes to shove, put him down by his own hands, this is evident by him telling Nina how he should save Jin for him. Then we get to the final fight where Kazuya ACTUALLY WALKS AWAY after Jin is seemingly defeated. I like that they gave Kazuya this much depth.
He cares. And it becomes more clear after he loses the devil gene. He is enraged at Jin but he also tries to not be full on Heihachi. He doesnt really go to kill Jin either, only moment he really tried was when he was full on demonic with Azazels power in him. He calms down a lot after he loses the Devil Power. He is still himself but less exaggerated cause the gene just amplifies emotions that are already there. He could have killed in the first fight but he let him float in the water. However this goes for Jin too,in the last fight he won even though he was LESS ruthless than Kazuya even if both werent going for the kill as humans, but Kazuya was more aggressive and would punish more,Jin just wanted to stop him and do the bare minimum necessary
@@newhybrid101 they both were actually trying to make the other guy quit, they weren't trying to kill each other. Kazuya constantly pulls his punches in T8, letting Jin escape in New York and walks away in the final fight. You just need to look at how he puts everything into trying to kill Heihachi and with Jin it's basically sparring.
I thought Kazuya walked away from him because he thought Jin was dead. Also, in the bad ending, Kazuya throws Jin off the cliff to make sure that he's dead. I really want to believe what y'all are saying, but so far, Kazuya apparently doesn't care for Jin. Hopefully, in the upcoming DLC, Kazuya will become more humane instead of retaining his boring evil one-dimensional persona.
@@ShadowDancer_ he really doesn't hit him hard enough to kill Jin before he walks away from the final fight, and he's the only character he doesn't scream DIE at
Holy horse, they never confronted each other again until Tekken 8... and the amout of fights they have in this story totally made up for it. That is awesome!
7:44 in the timeline from Tekken 4-8, only 2 years has passed but yea it’s still quite a long time before Jin and Kazuya had a face to face confrontation again.
From this scene Kazuya actually already have 2 chance to break mishima cycle : 1. If he choose to run away with jun and abandoned his hatred about his father. He will gain live happily with jun and jin probally he can become better person, he is also can prevent ogre to hurt his family so jun probally not gonna dissapear for long time. 2. If he choose rescue jin instead try absord his devil gene probally he will gain jin trust and both will ended face heihachi together, they dont need fight and can live peacefully as father and son together but power and hatred already consume him..make him never escaped from this cycle...hope after jin spare his live, he will found his redemption

Kazuya had bigger fish to fry, after all. The people at G Corp who tried to have him killed, taking over G Corp and of course, Heihachi.

If Jun Kazama hadn't stopped him, Jin Kazama might have become a complete Devil in Body and Mind.
20:33 that is what happened in the whole fight until Kazuya told him so long Azazel XD

Did you use TAS on T4 cause the just frame on that Laser Scraper at 5:02 is impressive
You don't need Tas to get one frame Laser Scraper, just perfectly predict
let's all pray for more Kazuya Jin interactions in Tekken 9🙏🏻🙏🏻
Crazy how they only encounter each other in tekken 4 and 8
