    I went to see Roy Ayers last night at the Howard Theater in Washington DC and he still has it @ the age 73 years old! HE IS A MAESTRO still getting it in! I LOVE ROY AYERS HE IS MY FAVORITE ARTIST!

    You can never bring back the good old days when the world was full of dreams, fun, and adventure. But, when listening to Roy and some of the other musicians of that era, you can always take your mind back there. We were truly blessed.

      +Roger James My friend, that's a timeless time gone by!! In 1979, I saw Roy Ayers open for a young Angela Bofill at Buffalo State College.. Roy played [Let me say performed] this cut!! Priceless!! Peace Fyi, Ms Bofill got down too!!!

      @rogerjames...i was 5 yrs old in Ft. DuPont park in SE DC, every weekend in the summers. Roy Ayers is 1 of the first concerts I was privileged...my mom insisted we know fantastic music. Thank you Ma!!!

    I Still have this in vinyl record. My mind goes back a long way. I still love Roy Ayers music to this day. Listening to his music since I was fourteen. Simply amazing! Much Love!💖💖💖💖

    I love at how all instruments to symphonies were utilized in many of the music tracks of the 70s and before. An era I dream would return. My dad would play this artist and many others music throughout my childhood. He is now gone. I miss my Dad, my Uncle, and the 70s.

    Roy made a name for himself with many during the disco era cutting edgy funky danceable tunes like Running Away, Moving_Grooving, Coffy and Let's Do It. But many ( like myself ) became acquainted with his smooth side like Want You.

    Music like this keeps me dating age appropriately. Somehow, I attract younger women who can hand dance and it's nice to feel like you still got it. But once the bar/club is gone and it's time for mellow music, it's like when the 'Last call' lights come on.

    Yes she did...I heard that too..Roy Ayers paved the way for the upcoming stars..and its ok...that's part of his makeup..In fact that made me like her song even more..and her lyrics are nothing but the truth!! But this song, you can hear those violins...if you know music..they sound heavenly with his xylophone.....You are a maestro Roy!!!!!
