I only learned of Kingsley in the last month. After hearing these videos I paid “a little extra” for a Constable and I can say, without any doubt, I’m enjoying the sound and playing experience more than I ever have. Well done and thank you Simon 👍🙏
Fantastic video. I've been waiting for a Hatchet explanation. Well done, sir. Also, the focus on the Page TS as a preamp is a bit eye opening as well. Great stuff!
I’ve been seeing these pedals (and Simon) pop up on TPS for a few years now and always thought they sounded brilliant, but these videos (and Simons playing) really caught my ear. I am going to need to investigate these for myself somehow…
Your guitar playing is an inspiration sir, as well as all the Kingsley gear you are offering. You are extremely creative in every way! I just ordered a Juggler v3 and a Hatchet. Wow, that tone at 10:55 with the Page TS in preamp mode hitting the Hatchet was very "Gilmourish"! I need that Page TS! And a Crucible too! 😮
Hi Simon thanks for showing of what your pedals capable of and really sound awesome. Any chance we could see the squire 86 on one of the platter pedal demo?
Great playing and tone Simon, absolutely love my harlot and constable 🤘🏽 are all the pedals in separate loops in G3 or do you need the signal level from the preamps to directly push the hatchet?
Thanks Joe - in general separate loops, except for the Constable into Hatchet, which is one loop as the Constable output at full strength is too much for any switcher that uses solid state switching...
The Hatchet needs to be pushed by a very hot signal to do it's thing. I don't think a modeling rig can do this...although I honestly don't know - perhaps if the rig has enough output on tap it can clip the Hatchet.
Any idea if this will work with a Victory V4 preamp pedal like the Kraken? I have one of these running alongside a Maiden for cleans, but the actual volume of the Victory doesn’t come close to the Maiden’s master volume. I’m thinking of putting the Victory into the Maiden, with the Hatchet in between the two. Amazing playing, btw.
Not sure how much output the Victory preamp has...so I can't say how hard it will drive the Hatchet. If it's output is substantially lower than. the Maiden then the Hatchet probably won't be a very good match...
Hey Simon, great video as always. Could I insert this Hatchet into the effects loop of my Tube Amp(TwoRockSS35) ? and does it work with 9v? thx for your answer, Stephan
Typically effects loop sends have attenuated sends so they will not drive the Hatchet hard...so the Hatchet will not clip much, if at all. Yes, it runs off 9VDC @ 500mA.
Yes, you can order it - contact us through our website: www.kingsleyamplifiers.com It will do nothing with the Harlot (not enough output on tap)...great with the Constable though.
@@PPIMV THANK YOU!!!!! I own the Page and the Constable and couldn't be happier. I'm really wanting the Maiden next. Thanks for what you do Simon. These are really an extraordinary treat to have available to us.
Kingsley pedals are world apart from any other pedals I ever owned. World class!
Came for the pedals, stayed for the playing. I like your style, Sir. 👍🏻👏🏻
That Maiden BF, Constable JTM and Hatchet trio sounded positively nasty. Perfect amp on the edge of meltdown sound.
My goodness Simon that lick 7:58. Love your playing so much.
Smoooooth!
Great playing, I'd never heard of the Kingsley pedal but now I'm intrigued
Absolutely beautiful tone and playing. The perfect tone, for my ears. Thanks for this demo

Glad you like the Constable Joe!

I need this to go with my Constable sn. 002. :) Constable + Hatchet will make the best fly rig ever
Great explanation and demo of the Hatchet. I’m on the list. Hoping to be able to get one soon!
You are a super player Simon! It takes a lot to blow me away and you do! The Kingley pedals are a class above!

Oh great, now you have convinced me to buy all of your pedals!
That prototype reverb again.. lovely sound.
Brilliant! Simply awesome tones…

Really wonderful Simon! Thanks for sharing your gifts with the world. You have made my tone so much better!
Very informative and as always, great playing. You are the man!!!
such a wonderful player...
Nice! I'd love to see the minstrel v3 in your pedal platter video.
OK will try and include it...
@@PPIMV Excellent! thank you!
Simon should be signed and make a record.
I’ll take them all!
Hi Jeff - hope all is well!

Good chance....have several to showcase, but I'll try and include it...

Great playing and tones ! Would you recommend the Hatchet to help out the feel and tone for my live modeling rig ? Thanks

Hey Simon, can we get you to do a demo of the Troubadour in the next pedal platter?
Will try and do that...
Ordered one tonight :)

Simon - are you still running the Maiden BF FOA or into the PowerAmp/Effects loop. - when running pre-amp into hatchet into Maiden?
Thanks,
The Maiden runs into the effects loop return always. I don't use it FOA (although you certainly can).

Fantastic playing and demo as always! When is the Hatchett available for pre-order? How would it interact with a Harlot V3 (I have the Constable too)?
It is available now. Email him to get in the waitlist.
Yes, you can order it - contact us through our website: www.kingsleyamplifiers.com It will do nothing with the Harlot (not enough output on tap)...great with the Constable though.
Order inbound! :)
So all the delay oming from the Pigtronix?
Yes.
will you review products of other brand?
I'm not really looking to do pedal reviews...occasionally I will use/feature other pedals - if they are ones I particularly like or use myself though.
Wow! Simon, is that your very own bobble head on the shelf behind you, or just a statue? :)
Yes - my very own bobble head! My daughter bought it as a Christmas present...
@@PPIMV that's awesome. I googled personalized bobble heads, right after I posted and found a website right away. :)
In the world of tone these days......Why are these pedals not pushing all other pedals off the board? Nothing sounds better.
Thanks very much!
