I’m 31 years old. My earliest memory of life was when my dad was playing Sting’s Fragile as we drove cross country. My very first concert was in 2000 when I turned 10. It was on Sting’s tour for the Brand New Day album. To say that Sting & The Police had a big impact on me and my life is an understatement. I don’t know why I write this now, but it’s a big part of me and I’m honored to share my stories with anyone who can appreciate it 😊

My first concert was also Sting! It was about the year you were born, though! 🙂 My kids are 21, 16 & 13 and I'm so thankful that they like the music I've shared with them from when I was their age. They love Sting & The Police, too! Isn't it wonderful how music connects generations! So glad you have those wonderful memories with your dad!☮🙏🎵❤

I'm listening to this on internet radio. I thought it was an older song. So happy Sting is still cranking out great music. At 70 too! Wow!
He still sounds as good as he ever has... with an added richness to his voice that seems to have come with age. I love seeing this as well as Tears for Fears making new music. It's like I'm a kid all over again.
Interesting. I thought his voice had lost something and was a little thinner. Still sounds good, though. Btw, Billy Idol, Psychedelic Furs, Duran Duran, The Stranglers, Eddie Vedder, Ian Brown, Bush, Counting Crows, Johnny Marr, Danny Elfman, Trent Reznor, Brian Setzer, Gary Numan, Eric Clapton, and more all have new music out since 2020 started.
What I also love about Sting is that his diction is perfect. You can hear every word of his lyrics.

Some of my earliest memories are my dad playing "The last ship" and "It's not the same moon" in our kitchen :) Life was so peaceful then. Sting seems to be a humble, witty man. I love his music a lot, it's art combined with a bit of childhood memories for me... Magical.
It was a great live play too. All of Stings work is amazing.

I'm blessed knowing I have access to your music. “The shape of my heart“ still is one of the best pieces of music I have ever listened to, I will make sure all of my future sons listen to it as well. My father, who is 62, doesn't really listen to songs that aren't in our language but I played it in the car once and it's everyday I hear him singing it with his adorable broken English. A great little pop song. Something Sting is very good at, but the wild thing here is Sting's singing. It's as if, at 70, he's letting it hang out--he can sing. And that's what caught my attention the first time I heard this.
