Been in for almost 3 years, just got this in my recommended. I see ambition in you, please keep it up. I don’t know what job you are but I went to Sheppard for weapons. I lost all my “being blue” about 6 months to a year being on the flightline. Just please, stay motivated. You seem like you could be real good for your shop when you eventually get there, and doing these videos helps out the masses who look to join soon. Keep it up.

Veni Vidi Amavi Dude I did a zero week ec shift for a battle field flight, and one guy went up to me and asked about how to get a faster run time, cause he was at 9:30 and was the slowest guy in his flight. I just looked at him and said, dude trust me, you’ll be fine.

In my flight, if your allergic to penicillin you were given amoxicillin. No one got away unvaccinated.😔
Strange since amoxicillin is still under the same family group of penicillin/blue mold (based on my microbiology and pharmacology subj in my course).. how does it work if you’re severely allergic to it? Amoxicillin is very deadly to me.. and i wanted to join the USAF after my college degree. :/

The schedules and rules at BMT change every week. The way to get through it is the same. Shut up, do what you're supposed to do when you're supposed to do it and you'll be fine. It'll be a joke when you look back at it.

Do you have to end up with a job/chore at bmt? I’ve seen some people not get any jobs and then some where everyone got a job
paulina Santiago I believe everyone is going to get a job. Some people just will have easier jobs than others that aren’t t too tedious.

After you get your uniform you will be marching in sneakers half of the day and boots for other half of the day to break in your boots.

Isnt there 'optional' pullups for higher pt standards?
Everyone does pull-ups for their pt test, after every other component. These do not affect whether you pass or fail, just a nice way for you track progess. If you do tie someone else in something for awards, the push-ups could potentially be used to distungish them
Pull ups don’t get you extra points any more on your pt test cause people who were practically failing on everything else could just pass if they were good on pull ups. Now it’s just required for battle field flights.
