Making big arrangements to help dress a house for tv cameras

- Flower farmer and florist Georgie Newbery of Common Farm Flowers creates three stunning, floral-foam-free arrangements for Sarah Beeney’s new house which is being filmed for a new series launching late autumn - Sarah and Graham are neighbours in the village so it’s only a five min drive down a bouncy track to deliver. Georgie takes you through the whole process, from flower frogs to gridding to greening up to height - this is a long one so get yourself a cup of tea, relax, and enjoy!

Your friend is a lucky lady to have the benefit of your amazing talent nearby. The arrangements are amazing Georgie! And boy - what a solid trifle dish that is! Did Grandma feed an army by any chance? Hope we get to see photos of the arrangements in the house. I'd particularly love to see the one in the fireplace. Just beautiful.

Hello from Wisconsin indeed!!
Thanks for sharing 🌸🌱🌺🌹💐👍

Always enjoy your shows. You also have beautiful containers. Do you keep the vessels or the customers keep them after the reception?
lol - they're all mine and I only hire out to very special customers x
Truly amazing arrangements. You’re such an artist 👏👏👏
thank you x
Beautiful, but seems it's the same video twice in this episode. May need to check it. I personally don't mind. I re-watch your videos anyway 😄
Oh darn! I’ve already deleted the originals - I need to be less rushed x
@@theflowerfarmer I am sure it's just fine. People are watching it and loving it. Over 1.5K views already. Great video!
@@GardenLifeChannel ah Thankyou x
I'm surprised you don't take your flowers etc in buckets to the venue and then arrange them in situ. I suppose filming would be a problem.
makes so much more mess to make the arrangements at the venue and you have to take broom and hoover and cloths for clearing up and compost buckets and the client always hyperventilates about how much time it takes and the untidiness and then you've forgotten the mint or the roses or don't have enough and at home you can just pop out and cut a few more stems but you can't at the clients. MUCH easier to do the bulk of the floristry at home, deliver, and take a bucket of extras for 'pudging' if necessary x
I am from Malaysia😁
Hello Malaysia!
Love these, how will you get them safely in the car without them falling over/getting squashed!
Carefully and drive very slowly x
Lovely and informative video, got my wish list ready for the autumn.
Is there a reason why some of your roses have a frame over them or is it just a case of they were previously there before Roses were planted.
Janx
In case of frost x
I should have thought of that, I wasn't thinking from a flower farmer point of view, where you need your flowers whatever the weather. Janx
Did this post twice?
I fear it did x
@@theflowerfarmer i have a little UA-cam channel and recently did the opposite of this - posted half a video. I watch the thing before i publish now - lesson learned!
@@thelasthomelyhouse I am always in such a hurry xxx #mustslowdown
Please post photos after installation.
tech disaster so no photos - but check Sarah Beeney's instagram and there's a reel there somewhere a week or so ago x
I don’t see the bio!
I’m trying to add links to all the vids… hold your breath x
Thank you for sharing your wisdom and knowledge in such a wonderfully chatty way. I've smiled all the way through this video ... and am absolutely fired up and busting to try your "tips and tricks" for myself. Would love to buy you a coffee (I've just got to.figure out how 🤔
Question (or rather two questions) What are "Spry vases?" And is"pot tape" different to Sellotape? (Other brands are available 😅😅😅)
@@gloriaunderwood5211 go for it x
