Great information, was able to reset my cycle count with your method. Now I need to reset my SYSTEM LOG to make them all the same. I'm currently have 8 Audi hybrid 48 volt battery modules in parallel with a JK bms on each module. Is there any other changes that can be done that is not in the bms manual.
The counter got screwed when you reset the cycles, now you would need to fully charge to high voltage disconnect for the soc to be accurate again. For calibration I would recommend disconnecting 1 of the batteries, put a constant load on the battery (idk a heater or something) something that doesn’t change constantly, put you clamp meter around the cable and measure the current and put it in the settings, then you reconnect the other battery disconnect the one you calibrated and calibrate the second one. Hope this helps
Yeah I figured that out when I just looked at how much I have charged into it so far an thought "Oh Bugger". 😭 My in the wall plug in meter will tell me what It want to know including losses for knowing how much generation it will take to fully charge including the Angels share.

Why even bother..In a few months you'll probably forget all about statistics and move on with your life to the next project..Atleast hopefully...These systems have got to be autonomous, just like power from the grid, or they wouldn't be worth the trouble..In my view..
Probably because it's an unknown, when you build something yourself you tend to take a while to trust it and in this case it's as much a hobby as it is necessity 👍

I have no doubt the hunny moon period will ease... Hopefully so will the paranoia. It will get worse when I start flying a wind turbine. UA-cam is awash with scared paranoid folk 🤣
I really must look into this home assistant. I can run around the place looking at equipment but other less mobile people in the house need to know what they can run or not. It's been nice the last few days with me " MUM PLEASE HELP ME BURN SOME???". Instead of "TURN THAT OFF!!!". LOL Cheers Thomas 👍

What are the upper and lower thresholds that the cycle has to hit for the count to register as a "cycle"
