    The stem logo is still greyed out ( not ready) if all white then ready to use. Buffering because still in process of analyzing the stem.

    Hi! After you added those songs under Stems-folder, do you need to load the song from there to be having the prepared stems or can you load songs normally from your original folder? Thx!

    • @TheDJConnect
      @TheDJConnect  Рік тому

      It should be good anywhere you load it, assuming it's the same track file
      Like me, I will add multiple versions of the mp3 instead of copying the track file just incase I ever have a crash

    • @TheDJConnect
      @TheDJConnect  Рік тому

      In my case, no, it won't work
      But if you take that stem version and drop it around in different crates, than yes it will work

      @@TheDJConnect So, if I drag/drop files from my normal crate to Stems, I can then see the same files in both crates, but is then same if I load the specific file from either crate and will have stems available? Or is that then two individual file; Other with stems prepared, other one (in original crate) in normal mode (no stems). Can I then delete (ctrl+backspace) the files from Stems crate and still have them prepared?

    • @TheDJConnect
      @TheDJConnect  Рік тому

      It has to stay in the stems crate, as that's where the data is stored
      In the OTHER crates, is the stem icon white I believe ?
      As long as it shows it's a stem file you're good to go

    • @jukkajarvenpaa
      @jukkajarvenpaa Рік тому +1

      Yep, it will have then the icon. Just one more; I will keep the selection of having stems to be added when loaded BUT also I’ll add some most used songs to stems crate. Will that ease the load from my pc? I mean when playing those songs.

    currently i make mashups using Serato Studio with stems..I would use Stems on the fly but i also use video and if im broadcasting which i really must get back to then my Macbook will probably have a heart attack.Having pre analyzed stems is an idea but as i have a stuffed hard drive as it is i am not sure that is an option.When the m3 Macbook Pros come out i will probably get a full fat pimped out one of those as some serious shit is coming along like using VR and AR in broadcasts which will be mental.For now i will stick to the mashups via Studio along with megamixes and if all is well back to broadcasts..Pre analyzing is good if you have the storage free

      Ya, honestly they are best kept for at home, remixing, playing around with, having fun, serato studio ,
      Live, on air, alot of them don't sound perfect, and people can notice, such a drastic change in volume and stuff
      Any m1 or higher wouldn't have an issue running them tho, I wouldnt worry about that, even lower. It's not THAT scary

    • @TheDJConnect
      @TheDJConnect  Рік тому +1

      SO honestly, I'm sure this isn't the answer you want,
      But I wouldnt buy ANY of them.
      Rane has alot of work to do before I ever buy another rane product,
      And than I'm not really into all in one controllers either,
      Id probably go with the XDJ only because pioneer is the best.
      As long as it works with serato, you're good.
      Stay FAR AWAY from Denon,
      I know in the UK everyone uses Denon, but I've only had problems my entire life.
      I would buy the Rev7 over and over and over again.
      If I couldn't get a Rev7, prob a rane 4 (if there was NOTHING else) or Flx 10,
      Are you positive you will be doing 4 deck mixing constantly?
      If not, you don't need 4 channels

      And I'm at the top height of my DJ career now.
      They have an aux port for spotify or whatever,
      I guess it just comes down to what kind of mixing you want to do.
      Unless you're for sure going to be doing 4 deck mixing, I wouldn't rule out 2 channel
