    THE BEST FLOOR PAN INSTALL IDEA EVER! A true demonstration of how careful planning can really make a difference. When I saw that floor plan slide in, I too felt that same sense of gratification ( I actually let out a "Oh, ho ho!"). Thanks sharing all your hard work-- truly inspiring. And thanks for putting time into all the work of filming and editing too!

      Thanks Wes. Finishing up the floor assembly now, getting ready to roll it back under one last time to weld it all together. Video coming soon. Appreciate the comment. Thanks again. 👍

    Best floor pan video yet. I put mine in a few weeks ago this assures me of what I've done.

    I’m rebuilding a ‘67 convertible and I have a lot of work to do on it before I get to the floor pan. This is a great video and gives me a lot of good information. I have a channel as well and know how much time and effort it takes to put out content and get work done on the car. I’ve had a few mishaps along the way and have not worked on it for a while, but more is coming soon on mine. I’m on rockers right now, driver’s side is in and passenger side is almost completely out. The convertible rockers are more reinforced and pretty heavy. Great videos and keep up the good work!

    Thank you for sharing. Fantastic job and yes it really does feel great to stand back and see those new panels in place but really feels good is when there welded in. 👍👀

    Very nicely done! Your attention to fitment and sequencing is great! Question: are you also a rail fan or employee?

      Thanks! My late father worked on the passenger trains (CP then VIA)… It’s a long service plaque that he was given. Nice to have a piece of him in the workshop with me ❤️. Good eye 😉

    Nice! Are you an engineer ? A lot of thought went into that jig setup. My floors are Dynacorn as well and I have to say they fit well too. I’m trying to go with AMD on all the outer panels if they are available.

      Close… Architect. 😂 Just a gear head at heart. The build has been a creative release through the pandemic and a great way to pass a cold winter. Thanks for watching and commenting. What’s next on your project?

      😄The word tolerance in your description made me wonder. I just finished welding in the new lower cowl, outer cowls and firewall, Lots of grinding to do. Quarter panels are next.

      @@TheLooper0 Sounds like you are a few steps ahead of me. Fine job. I’m still debating on my quarters even though I have new ones on hand. I’m letting the notion of replacing them percolate as I’m fond of saying! 😂

    Looks awesome… Dynacorn is made in Taiwan but AMD is the best sheetmetal made in Taiwan.

    That split frame jig is brilliant! I didn't quite understand the purpose of it in the last video, but it is clear now. Great idea. LOL - Dynscorn at ua-cam.com/video/0Ta1CihX4xM/v-deo.html A freudian slip?

    • @ParadiseBayCustoms
      @ParadiseBayCustoms  2 роки тому

      Thanks!!! I noticed the typo the second I uploaded it to UA-cam. Ugh! 🤪 Jig gets better in the next video… I’ve fab’d up some receiver tubes so I can slip it on and off my rotisserie in minutes. 👍
