watching your vids backwards but its fun watching someone reason out things like I had to. I think the cowl tag will now be the only original piece on the car lol.
I give you a shout out in my next video re: that inner rocker brace. Too bad it didn’t register in my brain until after I hacked mine up. I re-watched your video and was pissed because I watched it months ago but the brace didn’t register in my brain! lol
For the most part… All aftermarket sheet metal I’ve been using is Dynacorn. Been working great. Inner quarter panel and toe board patches are AMD (Dynacorn doesn’t make those). Good luck with your build. 👍
I love your vids and you detailed work. Just found you recently. Can I ask where you sources you frame his dimensions from or did you just use the car itself. Thank you for sharing with us your work. Top notch for sure
Thanks very much! I found dimensions online and then verified off the car. Just ensure that all the reference points are level and square. Rockers and package tray should be level on the jig when the jig is level. Thanks for reaching out 👍
I use a “clean & strip wheel” from DUROPEAK (Amazon) that works GREAT! That and your typical wire wheel in tight spaces, etc. Quarters were replaced with skins in the 80’s - not the best job... my door jambs are toast at the quarter rocker and the only way to get replacement is with a new quarter skin (AMD sells the skin with the door jamb). Will have to decide what to do soon???
@@ParadiseBayCustoms that sounds a lot like my car. New quarters and outer wheel houses, everything else is junk. I just got a bunch of those cheap Amazon 2" clean/strip discs. They work awesome, bunch of dust though.
Quick question do you have the measurements for your jig me and my dad are currently building 3 1st gen’s and ones is a frame off build so looking to get the sub frame out and rear ens out in a few months to put it on a jig

Just found your channel… It’s AWESOME! Gonna binge watch it all. Keep up the good work!
Thanks for following! Appreciate the support.
Nice work.. looks like it had a rare fold down rear seat..
Thanks! Indeed - good eye! You must have a first Gen too? Working on or driving?
lot of work there. Your bracing is very effective.
😁 Much appreciated!
Just my .02 but I believe from what I've seen , I would have put a 1 piece floor in it. To each there own I guess, I hope your car comes out good.
Thanks Mike. Exactly what I did. You’ll have to keep watching. 😁 Appreciate the comment 👍
Can I ask what brand you went with for inner/outer replacement? I have a 68 Camaro and need to do same work.

Thank you sir
Looks good! What did you use to strip the paint? Are your quarter panels in good shape?
