Going through some of the comments, I think moving forward I'm going to make some changes to the series. I'm going to introduce a new rule: "I must remove all gear when moving from one zone to the next". This (hopefully) will help two-fold: I'll begin to feel more challenged by the story/overworld content, AND I can more accurately reflect what a "new-player experience" is (which was my original goal). Right now I'm loaded to the gills with gold, cosmetics, and gear gifted from you guys; but a new player doesn't have that. This will make world bosses WAY harder, but it'll also give me an incentive to collect more gear while questing. I'm going to try it out for Reaper's March, we'll see how it feels from there. I'm keeping all the bait though... I don't care if new players don't have endless bait. I'm not willing to go insane for these videos.
I think most people don’t even bother with zone gear anymore, they just want endgame stuff. So I like your plan. For me, it would be cool to see the zone sets in action while you’re looting and killing and maybe throw a description or a personal comment in about the sets. Like, there’s some sets that give you glowy purple arms, some that make you have these floating etherial blades above your head, etc. Just my opinion. Either way, diggin the videos, I’m also working on 100% completion right now, so far at 92% for the whole game so this is fun to watch because I’ve forgotten some of these story lines.
maybe make it so it can only be gear from that zone as you're 100%ing it and can talk about what you think of the gear sets and quest rewards you can get and such.
yeah I really like the new editing with the avatar. Not that there was anything wrong with your old style, but it just has a little more to look at. I like how it's not there the entire video too, and you only pop in when talking to us 1on1 which keeps the vibe
Let me know if this guy ever misses with an upload. This one feels crazy polished congrats bro its cool watching ur vids evolve. you'll have it down to a science soon enough
Dude I'm so sorry this area sucked, and definitely take all the time you need, you matter more than content. I adore this series, but not at the expense of your happiness and interest in the game. Great video as always, and I hope when you return you have a better time in Reaper's March!!
No need to apologize! I was warned going into it so I was able to taper my expectations. This is the first zone that's been poor, and by poor, I actually mean mediocre. I still enjoyed about 50% of it, it was that other 50% I felt was very weak. I am going to take a couple days off to ensure I remain unbiased moving into Reaper's March, but I'm looking forward to wrapping up the Dominion storyline!
This is genuinely the best elder scrolls content I’ve seen. I’m currently stuck in a pretty lengthy SOF pipeline, and being a huge elder scrolls nerd, this series has honestly made me feel closer to home than I have in some time. Try not to get burnt out, but I sincerely hope you continue this series. Good shit 🤙
Something ESO players have been asking for for many years is an overland difficulty option. In fact, a friend of mine did some tests and concluded that it might be a good idea to add a mythical set that reduces the player's attributes and rewards them for playing these contents with the set. Honestly, I love doing quests, I think I say that in all your videos... but here is the other part: doing quests sometimes becomes a bit boring precisely because... one shot, one kill for the bosses! I mean, you're a new player, without much experience, and you've encountered exactly the same problem, you know? This difficulty is improved a little in the expansions, especially the more recent ones, but only in the final bosses of ALL the content... and it's still all very easy.
And once again: Malabal Tor is a bad area overall, I agree 100%. It was an area in which, doing the quests in order of "passage" and not just doing the main quest, greatly improved the experience, (understanding The Hound, for example, while I was doing the main quest, made it much more interesting) but it was still pretty bad compared to the other zones.
I think LOTRO has a really good difficulty scaling system for their MMO that ESO could do a good job copying. For me, the story bosses are beginning to blend together. What's the difference between the Prince Naemon Boss fight in Grahtwood, or The Hound boss fight in Malabal Tor? They both die in exactly the same time, their mechanics aren't threatening, they feel the same. Estre in Auridon was a good example of a story boss done right. She's easy to melt, but has 3 stages of invulnerability, where you must kill the flame atronachs to continue. Still, it would be cool to feel a sense of accomplishment killing these bosses like how I feel when I solo a worldboss.
I found you by accident and i have to say im glad i did your content is great and you convinced me to start a game that ive had for 3 years and never could really like
That's so awesome to hear man I'm really thankful I've been able to provide you with that inspiration. This game really is a huge world to discover, and although it's got it's fair share of bumps and bruises, it's one of the best SOLO-RPG focused MMOs you can play for the price it's at.
found myself getting back into ESO the past few days and just discovered your videos. excited to see more as i play along and fall back in love with the game! hope to see you at some WB's :)
Let me know what you guys think of the new editing style! It takes much more work, but instead of just "looking at background footage" while I talk, you can look at my avatar. I try to make each video a bit better than the last and since Malabal Tor was SO fast, I decided to allocate a bit more time to editing Check out the previous/next episodes of the series in the official playlist: ua-cam.com/play/PLLjh3bXgMhMpPtwUWmJVof5PDpgcBXD4U.html
love the progression of editing like others are saying, this video feels very polished and i appreciate your attention to detail. also want to agree with @novAviator01, i am appreciating this content so much that i would listen to it as just a podcast - your script is just that good! can't wait for more.
The GOAAAAAT. I love this stuff man. You’ll love Reaper’s March. Also a portion you mentioned about how the Hound actually may NOT be as bad as you think… excited for you to get closer to modern content and hear your thoughts. Your work is awesome man! Love it as usual!
Been loving the series! Don't make yourself play if you don't want to, not only will you burn yourself out, but it could also skew your opinion of an area. Tier lists at the end of big sections like this would be fun, and then one big one at the end of all the zones. Overall keep up the good work man!
I got into ESO many times and always dropped out again after a couple of weeks. I started again after seeing your first video in this series and decided to do the same. And damn, that's the most fun I had with an MMO in years. It really helped me to have a different goal than "reach max level as fast as possible". There are so many cool things in this game you just miss, if you don't go for the completionist route. Up until now I completed the entire Aldmeri Dominion side of the game and Necrom before going into Cadwells Silver to bride over the time until Gold Road releases. It's not really the right order of progression, but I wanted to be ready for the new expansion right on release and explore the new map with everyone else. (And as I do understand it, Necrom basically builds up the story that is continued in Gold Road. So it probably does help that I did this before jumping in the new expansion.) But I'm really looking forward to finishing Cadwells Silver and then jump into Cadwells Gold. I plan to finish all expansion and DLC maps eventually and it helps to have this 100% goal in mind. Without the need to rush anything because "that's just what you do in MMO's". I also feel like this is finally the perfect time to really jump into ESO, since I'm quiet annoyed with GW2 right now, and start to get burned out of FFXIV. I have to thank you for this great video series, that got me back into the game. Keep up the good work and I'm really interested what you think about the final Aldmeri Dominion map. Simply because it was actually my favorite one.
I’m a veteran player but I miss this time of everything being new and unknown. I love watching people play through for the first time and relive that time again, it’s special. Eventually I became corrupted by the meta, the grind, the achievements and end game. 😅
Back when I played ESO, Rawl'kha was pretty much my friends and I's central hub, mostly cause I owned the house just north of it. It'll be nostalgic to see Reaper's March next episode!
When you make enemies stupid easy you rely too heavily on story telling and when that lacks you get bored players. Great video man rest up and get ready for the next.
I too decided a year or so ago to do eso in order, and then I stopped dead after two factions because what you experienced here happened to me more than once. Ive picked back up now, but allowed myself to jump out of the timeline with Summerset, which restored my love of the game and now I'm just sprinkling in Daggerfall content here and there to prevent burnout 😅 all that said I really applaud your dedication and I hope all of us cheering you on can get you through where on my own I just gave upb😂
Just foubd this series, and you by consequence, yesterday. I love it all so far, and I'm excited to see more in the future! I remember you stating something about livestreams, and I'll have to see if i can join one! Keep up tge great work!
Im currently getting back into this game after not playing for about 5 years. Really enjoying your journey through man. I'm playing solo so there's a lpt of struggle but i live for it. Love this series its a very unique idea my only issue is that the videos are too short😂 I'll need to catch a stream.
Really you think they're too short? I'm always worried they're too long and I try to talk quickly! Maybe I'll try and do a really long recap after my Aldmeri Dominion playthrough and rank everything :)
I've been playing eso on and off for about 6 or 7 years and I've only recently progressed for and this series is kinda inspiring me to actually do the zone quests
I love to hear that! I'm so happy some older players are finding a new way to play through me. Even if I didn't invent this style of play, having clear goals can help stop you from over consuming content and burning out :)
hey frost i really enjoy ut videos, they way u play through the zones like a skyrim player is just what i did when i started, the Vvardenfell main story + the Clockwork City main story & the Summerset main story is all tied together(in that order) and i cant wait for you to get there, had fun watching ur video & hopefully will enjoy meny more ^^
Raz isn't notable on an individual zone level but rather on a Dominion level. We love him because he is fun and funny. He has a harcore persona, but he is a giant softy, too. Not weak, just sweet. There are similarly "notable" characters in the Covenant and Pact stories. A Breton and a Nord (I won't tell you who they are to not spoil it). They also are recurring in some of the DLC content. There is another duo that is also recurring and fun. All I'll say is it's a lady and her man servant. They are also enjoyable.
After your first video, you gave me so much inspiration that I tried to play it this way and not just rushing.. this is first time after long time since I played when game came out that I want to play it again! Good video btw! Enjoy every one u put out, keep it up more!🙋🏻♂️
That's awesome I'm so happy to hear that. I wonder if this playstyle has a name in ESO "marathon mode" or something. I'm always happy to hear more people taking on the challenge and I wish you the best of luck!
Wow that's super awesome to hear thank you! I'm just getting started on Reaper's March after my "detox" from Malabal Tor. Hopefully in about a week or so the next one will be up!
Props to you dude the quality of your videos really impressive for someone relatively new to UA-cam. Subscribed a few vids back and haven’t been disappointed, really good stuff
Some zones are so long I go into auto pilot just watching my argonians tail swish side to side untill I fall asleep. You did a great job pushing through haha.
just did reapers march yesterday, got to say its pretty strong, liked the zone design and one of the only times i cared about the story. No spoilers but there is a side quest that feels very significant and will feel out of place if done post main story, some NPCS will have things to say about the events there i found. The POI is called Senelana and is to the north of the map, in some ayleid ruins. thought id mention it because im not sure what order you do things in. hope you enjoy reapers march.
Good to know! I'm looking forward to a palette cleanser for sure. I think (following everyone's advice) I'm going to do the POI's FIRST then do the main story for Reaper's March and we'll see how that feels.
17:25 Skyway Bridge, it's a "elevated type of pedway connecting two or more buildings in an urban area, or connecting elevated points within mountainous recreational zones" and "urban skyways very often take the form of enclosed or covered footbridges that protect pedestrians from the weather".
Sorry to hear about your negative experience with Malabal Tor - take your time with the next zone! The content is great, but your enjoyment and happiness comes first. I hope you enjoy Reaper’s March when you do decide to come back!
The New Editing Style is pretty great! I will say going forward is may be wise to prioritize completing side quests before finishing or sometimes getting too far into the main story. This will pay off later when characters in some zones, especially after the Vanilla map encounter you in the story and recognize you from a side quest or they may appear at banquets marking the very end of the storyline for a zone. When this happens you can talk to the people you have done side questing for and get updates on what they've been doing since you've completed their quest. I'm not exactly sure when this takes effect but I would guess sooner rather than later to be safe. Also if you're a dialogue guy, make sure to try to talk to NPCs before you've completed an objective for them, you'll probably get new dialogue and even sometimes new dialogue interactions with them that you wouldn't get if you just do the objective as soon as you leave the conversation with them initially.
Good advice, I think I'm going to draft up some new parameters for my next video. I still think the story segment deserves to be ranked alone, as it's what 99% of players just blitz through without touching the side content. But for my personal enjoyment, I think I'm going to start doing the POI's first, then the main story.
@@FrostbreakYT I will say occasionally I have encountered info form the main story being able to be used in side-content dialogue, but it is far rarer. I've only encountered it once. I think you've got the right idea doing POI's first.
Wish I could too. They take about 40 hours each, which is basically a full-time work week. Maybe one day I'll be big enough to devote more time to these vids!
It felt like you were saying over and over again that the Main Story was bad but only because it was short. At least until you started to use the burger analogy. Top notch explanation. Makes perfect sense to me. I'm glad you've noticed the side content is often super relevant to the main story, that theme continues, arguably better as you get into the DLCs
Could be, I've been told the DLC zones really integrate side-content into the main story, so you might be right. Hey! I'm glad my sandwhich analogy helped at least one person understand where I was coming from!
@@FrostbreakYT I would love to play with you some day. Watching your videos feels like coop gaming with a good old friend. Sharing opinions and stuff about the elder scrolls world. It's great and it's a pleasure for me. Looking forward to your next videos. Have a great day Sir!
Hey @FrostbreakYT thanks for the videos man. I personally have never used my companions to tank but just an fyi you can direct your companions attacks by heavy attacking a target. This may help them tank 2 targets. With some effort on your end. Keep it up. 👍
Another great video! I need to try and catch up so your videos don’t spoil me. I hope you get your motivation back as I’d hate to see those videos stop
Wow that's a coincidence. Do you play other elder scrolls games? I'd be curious to hear how my videos sound to a non-ESO player. I try my best to keep it elder-scrolls-centered.
I am trying out the game thanks to you. I started out in vvardenfell and then got totally derailed from random quests. Enjoying it as a whole but I am so done with the traversal aspect of the game. I almost never understand what path they expect me to take and I get stuck and lost a lot lol. Guess I’m just inept at exploration. Keep up the great videos and refill your creative juices!
Yes, some zones have really bad designs in terms of overworld and transportation. I've played a few (like Auridon) that were perfect, but others run you into a dead end or at the bottom of a cliff and it doesn't feel as great.
In Khenarthi's Roost you meet the Silvinar and the Green Lady. As you recall, the Silvinar is murdered and the Green Lady stated that she would soon die. In Greenshade the new Silvinar is chosen and in Malbal Tor the Green Lady is named. What I like about the AD zones is they tie the story together from the starting zone. This isn't the case for the other alliances. I like level scaling, but it's true the overland mobs and bosses are too easy. They should crank up the difficulty for sure.
when in Reapers March take a look at the town of Rawl'kha. Many players, including myself have put all of our characters here due to how small and open it is. It provides access to everything one could need. Perhaps I'm not selling it that well, but I encourage you to stop and look around Rawl'kha.
Hey man! I'm still loving the vids so keep them coming! There is one thing I will suggest to you about your play style. I approach eso much like you are, going zone by zone and actually taking my time enjoying the story and scenery, except how I usually do it is follow a path of quests, and I don't complete the main story all in one sweep. For example, you have the first main story quest of the zone in the area you first enter (usually a city) and then from that you'll need to travel up the designated road to reach the next one. But before I go to the next main quest, if I see any side quests (or points of interest) on the way, I complete them beforehand. Usually these make chronological sense with the story, and I think if you did something like this in Malabal Tor you would have enjoyed the story more as like you said, there were some quests that could have been part of the main storyline. I have found all eso zones follow this pattern of already having a 'route of quests' you can follow simply by following the main road and completing quests as you encounter them. I appreciate the main story in Malabal Tor is definitely weak, but I just thought I'd share my own thoughts after my many hours traversing Tamriel! Keep at it, I hope you continue to enjoy the game :)
That sounds like an ideal way to play. Bit tricky to work in recording wise and how I structure my creation process (notes, data collection, etc). I think what I may do that other people suggested, is to do the POI's first THEN do the main story. Better to be missing a little bit of information on a POI rather than missing a lot of information on the main story.
your first upload to this series inspired me to start the same task (minus the fishing for now). I've so far finished all of my starting faction zone (Daggerfall Covenenant), all of Cadwell's Silver (Aldmeri Dominion since im DC), and now I'm about half way through Cadwell's Gold (Ebonheart Pact). The WORST zone I've experienced so is either malabal tor or reaper's march, they were just so degrading. (I also completed Coldharbour since i was there for the story anyway)
Don't sweat the fishing. I get so many comments about people telling me the fishing is too brutal, but it's pretty much the only ESO task I do while working from home! You're so much further ahead of me! How much playtime does your character have? Interesting you say Malabal tor & Reaper's March were the worst you've done so far. I've heard that a lot about Malabal Tor, but people usually say Reaper's March is one of the best. It'll be interesting to see for myself!
@@FrostbreakYT My arcanist im doing it on has 130 hours playtime individually. i’m zooming through, not necessarily skipping dialogue, but combat is a breeze comparatively because of my years of pve sweating and item collection. On zones, i don’t necessarily think the later aldmeri zones are particularly BAD, im just very partial to the themes of daggerfall and ebonheart and their races.
By the way the story of the Hound and Green Lady is an analogy of the past, Hircine used to love Nirney (the planet of TES) but she had to leave Hircine since he was of Padomaic origin for Y'ffre that's why Hircine wears the head of the stag (which was Y'ffre's champion) as a trophy. There are similar analogies of Trinimac killing Lorkhan and throwing his heart out which the other deadra pity, like Briarhearts getting their heart removed by Hagravens (who represent Namira) fascinating really.
I really enjoy this video series! Ich recently did a more or less full quest playthrough on a new Character. I didn't do it as thorough as you (for example: screw fishing :) ) but I completed the zone guide for the most part for every zone. For the base game zones I have to say, as alliances go, I liked the Dominion zones the least. My subjective rating would be: 1. Covenant zones, 2. Pact zones and 3. Dominion zones. I hope you can recover from the Malabal Tor ordeal soon because I am looking forward to the next part. :)
All these great comments have got me much more motivated. Most people I've heard from agree with you, Dominion zones tend to be the weakest. I'm almost at the light at the end of the tunnel, so we'll see what other places have to offer!
My one bit of advice - once you get to DLC zones - please finish all the side quests before finishing the main quest of the dlc/chapter zones. If you don't you miss out on a lot of optional extra story and dialogue as in all the dlc/chapter zones, everyone you did side quests for, will make an appearance at the end of the main quest and you get a lot of final resolutions on their story arcs and learn what happened to them after you finished their quests.
Good to know. I felt that really affect the story telling in Malabal Tor, but in my opinion, side content should be used to support the content; not essential. I judge the main story alone because it's what 99% of players rush through, combining the POI's and main campaign might be seen as a little disingenuous. However what you say seems a bit different so I'll take that into consideration for the first DLC zones I do.
@@FrostbreakYT Ya its not essential but like....I'll make up an example. Say you defeat the big bad of the main quest of a zone, and at the end of the main quest, everyone is partying/celebrating you or some such. If you did all the side quests, all the people you helped will make a cameo at that end party to celebrate with you and might have a line or two about what they've been up to since you helped them out. If you dont do any side quests, the ending celebration will be empty/only include the main quest characters If that example makes sense! It became a staple of the later DLC/Chapter zones after ZoS saw how much people liked getting to see and catch up with characters people really connected with in the side quests, getting a little closure or extra details about their arcs and such. Its def not something thats like required or essentially but if ya care about some extra story stuff its there! I know I myself personally and a lot of players kinda do everything as we progress through a zone, like say a main quest takes us to a town, and there are side quests there, most story players do everything and all the side quests in said town before the main quest rail roads us to the next town etc. Anyways, Im rambling, keep up the awesome work dude!
Love the new editing style! While the fun might be plateauing right now, I think the dlc zones will be a noticable improvement, which I can't wait to see you experience (especially morrowind). As always a banger of a video :)
Oh and for some feedback, I am not sure if this is a style choice, but I noticed both the videos and the streams have this black border at the top and bottom of the screen which looks a bit irritating. If it's not intentional, maybe it's an issue with the recording aspect ratio or a reshade feature? Not a huge deal, but if I had to nitpick, I think removing that would be a minor improvement👍
Check out my community posts! I coincidentally JUST put out a poll about those black bars for people to vote on. I explain how and why they're there. Thank you for the comment!
I started eso in 2015 or 2016, just like you do now. Coming from Morrowind, Oblivion, Skyrim. Funfact: one could not, at that time, differ main and side quest by the other sign on the map. I started the main quest, but stayed in the region (eg in and around Velynharbour until next wayshrine) until having finished every side quest before i moved on to the east, taking up the mainquest again. Therefore the sidequests always were connected to the main questline for me. I noticed a short while ago: just because of the difference in the marking on the map, i now finish the main quest before i take up any sidequest. And i notice, many of the dlc mainquests do not catch me this way. I will try and go back to my old way of questing, to get a deeper dive into the story of the state.
Another BANGER of a video, I can’t wait for the next one tho but make sure ya take your time and don’t gas your self put. This was definitely an unseasoned zone. I like the new segments as well though💯 Edit: we all love samiches🥪🥳
I hear you... Malabal Tor is just a slow zone. Reapers March, personally, was the same for me. Aldmeri Dominion starts off strong but... really slows down. After the Faction Storyline it gets so much better though.
I love this series a lot. It makes me want to play more ESO since I stopped playing as much. One thing I would say is that maybe try doing the side content/other stories and poi's before completing the main story of the zone? As you noted in this video it gave more background into some of the characters, and I know in the Morrowind expansion/zone it affects the ending a little if you do everything else first before the final mission. Either way, I really like this series and I don't want you to burn yourself out. Take some time away if you need to!
Ah it's okay. They can't all be bangers, this one just lacked compared to others is all. I've heard many times from the comments that this zone is a little lack-luster; but Reaper's March is worth the grind.
Yeah, As you continue through the series, you will come to find that every faction has "That" zone. Can't wait for you to see your best friend RAZ in Reapers March!
There are later zones, where the outcome of the main quest will be VERY different, depending on how many POI quests you have done. So, I would always do POI first, always, and main quest after. I've been playing eso a long time and I never do main story separate from POI, I always go through the map, do every POI that I come across and continue the main quest as I get close to quest stages, the story usually works better that way. And I never finish the main story fully, sometimes I only do 1-2 quests in it, only after I did all of the POI.
I'm on the same run as well, however I do leave out the Fishing from the 100% Completion because I know I don't enjoy it. It takes too much time to only be like what, 2% of content? Anyway, I finished AD and is slowly moving through EP main stories, I like the EP story better. Loved your series as I get to reflect on my old journey while I'm experiencing the new one, keep on keeping on!
I think the story of the hound and the green lady is kind of parallelled to Hircine and Yiffre. With Hircine wearing the head of yiffre's lover's favourite deer.
I vaguely remember a wedding zone, that was all I remembered. So this zone would have been much better if some of those point of interest missions would have been part of the main story (Edit: you just said exactly the same thing as I clicked post lol). As others have mentioned Reaper's March was much better.
When I played through this, there was no clear distinction between main and side quests of a zone. Additonally, there was no level scaling, and iirc quests even told you their expected player level. So you were strongly encouraged to do side content as you encountered it, and doing higher level quests would be a challenge knowingly taken. The latest zones do their best to encourage or even require some nominal side quests alongside the main story. In base game zones it was just more expected that you seek them out from the start, with "main story" quests giving a general direction of travel at best.
Love the new editing style! I think a mix of the new and old would be nice, just so you have more breathing room in editing. ESPECIALLY with the slog that was Malabal Tor. Also! I know it's still a long ways out until you do a DLC zone, but there are prologue quests for each of them as well that are a great intro to the story that's to come.
Noted! Thank you for the feedback! Ah okay, I'll have to look into the prologue quests. My members voted and I think wrothgar is winning by a lot to be my first DLC zone, so I'll need to look into how to start that. Hopefully the prologue it doesn't take place in a zone which I'm "not allowed" in yet!
@@FrostbreakYT No prob! Unfortunately for Wrothgar there isn't a prologue quest, it only became a staple with the next chapter, Morrowind. To find them, they're under Crown Store
@@FrostbreakYT the rift was my least fav zone next to glenumbra, but once you get to the Reach (greymoor DLC) it's a blast if you're feeling nostalgic for skyrim
As a heads up, your companion will prioritize taunting enemies that you are currently targeting, which i find infuriating. But if you switch targets for a couple seconds until the other enemies are taunted, it might be able to help you.
Not trying to hype you up, but reapers march is awesome, its really important to the khajiit! I really like your content and yeah 2.5 is a fair score for this one!
I agree that the main story wasn't amazing. To me Malabal Tor just has a special place and feels a little like home because back in 2016 or something I kept stealing from the Baandari trading post and went back to Velynharbor to sell my goods for days and weeks to obtain my very first mount for 40k gold.
I am loving this series as I'm not into mmo's. On the topic as a TES fan the weirdest closest feeling i got to playing through a tes quest was in Genshin impact and I'd love for you to play that games story content and exploration.
Loving the series and love the new segment. Do what you want, I trust your creative vision as you’re doing a great job
Malabal Tor layed on the ground and twitched slightly so that Reaper's March could run.
haha too funny. From the start I heard Malabal Tor wasn't great but Reaper's March was. So I can look forward to that at least :)
@@FrostbreakYTkeep it up! I love this series
So glad I discovered this series when the first video was uploaded. This series is great! Keep it up!
Thank you Mr. fett
yeah I really like the new editing with the avatar.
Thank you! I hope to find a "groove" soon, I keep trying out new ideas but I just have to pray they land well :)
This soothes me bc I've done this exact strategy with my main character, made it already to the Orsinium DLC and the grind is good. Props to you, man.
Thank you! I think I might be headed to Orsinium soon depending on what the channel members vote for "my first DLC zone"!
I am going to take a couple days off to ensure I remain unbiased moving into Reaper's March, but I'm looking forward to wrapping up the Dominion storyline!
the game itself sucks....you all missed out on leveled zones when it was a bit more interesting

The best series on UA-cam continues
It really is
I'm so glad to see eso content that isn't just about class builds
This is genuinely the best elder scrolls content I’ve seen. I’m currently stuck in a pretty lengthy SOF pipeline, and being a huge elder scrolls nerd, this series has honestly made me feel closer to home than I have in some time. Try not to get burnt out, but I sincerely hope you continue this series. Good shit 🤙
Loving this series, cant wait to see you progress through all the zones!! Thanks for making such great content!
Glad you enjoy it! My pleasure :D
17:20 Imperial architecture :)
Amazing video as always!
Yes! Thank you!
Man I am HOOKED on this series! Keep it up
Thank you!!
Trying to interact with these as much as possible! Stellar work!! Motivated me to try and look at the story more in SWTOR. Keep it up!
I really appreciate that thank you! SWTOR is a gem for sure!
I try to make each video a bit better than the last and since Malabal Tor was SO fast, I decided to allocate a bit more time to editing

love the progression of editing like others are saying, this video feels very polished and i appreciate your attention to detail. also want to agree with @novAviator01, i am appreciating this content so much that i would listen to it as just a podcast - your script is just that good! can't wait for more.
The GOAAAAAT. I love this stuff man. You’ll love Reaper’s March.
Also a portion you mentioned about how the Hound actually may NOT be as bad as you think… excited for you to get closer to modern content and hear your thoughts. Your work is awesome man! Love it as usual!
Thank you Mr. Cooper! I think the first DLC zone I'll be playing is in Wrothgar, excited to see how the "paid" stuff compares to the base-game!

Thank you that means a lot to me :)
So it probably does help that I did this before jumping in the new expansion.)
But I'm really looking forward to finishing Cadwells Silver and then jump into Cadwells Gold.
Okay watched all your Videos now.
The good thing is, they are all good.
The bad thing is there are none left
I’m a veteran player but I miss this time of everything being new and unknown. I love watching people play through for the first time and relive that time again, it’s special.
Eventually I became corrupted by the meta, the grind, the achievements and end game. 😅
That's great to hear, thank you for watching :)
The architecture for the trade post is actually base game imperial.
This is because it’s right on the border of reaper’s March, which is kinda split between khajiit/woodelf/imperial
Thank you for that answer! Yeah I wasn't too sure what it was, I really like how it looks though!
Can’t wait until you try elsweyr and clockwork city man, you’re gonna love those

Would binge watch this series if I could. Love it keep it up.
Even if I didn't invent this style of play, having clear goals can help stop you from over consuming content and burning out :)
hey frost i really enjoy ut videos, they way u play through the zones like a skyrim player is just what i did when i started, the Vvardenfell main story + the Clockwork City main story & the Summerset main story is all tied together(in that order) and i cant wait for you to get there, had fun watching ur video & hopefully will enjoy meny more ^^
Best gaming series on yt right now! Take all the time you need bro - and great work keep it up!
Honestly, that's the best eso series on UA-cam. Keept it up, can't waint for next episode!

Some zones are so long I go into auto pilot just watching my argonians tail swish side to side untill I fall asleep. You did a great job pushing through haha.
Thank you! Yeah Malabal Tor did feel like that a bit.
just did reapers march yesterday, got to say its pretty strong, liked the zone design and one of the only times i cared about the story.
Thanks, will do!
Don’t let this one get you down and delay on Reapers March! Love these and wish you could put them out more often!
Maybe this was the devs initiative to push players to play more side quests in the early design plans for the game. ??
Could be, I've been told the DLC zones really integrate side-content into the main story, so you might be right. Hey! I'm glad my sandwhich analogy helped at least one person understand where I was coming from!
malabal tor gave me so much storyline trauma that now when i quest in a zone i always do everything else then do the main story
HAHA honestly same. I'm gunna start doing that for my next videos lmao
Velyn Harbor used to be my go-to place to do my daily crafting in my early days of playing.

Yaaaaaaay just when i was feeling down you posted another masterpiece!!
Glad I could help :)
If you dont do any side quests, the ending celebration will be empty/only include the main quest characters
If that example makes sense!
I like the new segments as well though💯
Edit: we all love samiches🥪🥳
You already know! Thanks for your support, glad you like the new stuff :)
I hear you... Malabal Tor is just a slow zone. Reapers March, personally, was the same for me. Aldmeri Dominion starts off strong but... really slows down. After the Faction Storyline it gets so much better though.
I’m really enjoying these videos. You do a great job.
Glad you like them! Thanks :)
@@FrostbreakYT ofc! I also sent you a friend request in game. I’m on more than I should be so if you ever need help, lmk ☺️
I could do that. Maybe I'll do the POI's first in Reaper's March! Thank you for the advice!
Take as long a break as you need, Azurah knows I needed one after Malabal Tor
Yeah seems like I'm not alone in that. I want to make sure Reaper's March gets the send-off it deserves!
Glad you're keeping the series going. Sad this area sucked. Keep it up. Dont worry about taking a break.
Ah it's okay. They can't all be bangers, this one just lacked compared to others is all. I've heard many times from the comments that this zone is a little lack-luster; but Reaper's March is worth the grind.
considering how relatively new you are to youtube your editing is genuinely impressive stuff
Thanks, but I'm not new. I have a minecraft channel with almost 30k subs but I quit before covid.
Yeah, As you continue through the series, you will come to find that every faction has "That" zone. Can't wait for you to see your best friend RAZ in Reapers March!
I'm excited for you to leave the rainforest to get to Elsweyr. Reaper's March is SO different from the rest of the Dominion
I like the rainforest, but I am excited for a scenery change!
This video was edited very nicely!
Damn I never knew that, that's pretty awesome lore.
W video. nice to see the new editing changes.
Thanks :)
I vaguely remember a wedding zone, that was all I remembered. So this zone would have been much better if some of those point of interest missions would have been part of the main story (Edit: you just said exactly the same thing as I clicked post lol). As others have mentioned Reaper's March was much better.
Haha took the words right out of my mouth! I'm looking forward to the finale, just need to get some motivation to get back in the game!
Love these videos just watch the wholes series through.
Love your vids please keep going! Super unique style
Thank you! Will do!
Great editing and I enjoyed the video :)
Glad you enjoyed!
To find them, they're under Crown Store
im obsessed with this series and I have not played the game in years lol
Thanks! I'm glad my videos are still appealing to people who don't play anymore :)
Great video series man. I love it
Glad you enjoy it!
For multi target have you tried targeting your companion? On console it’s L3+R3 and hard attack. Great series!
you're still goated. keep going ☝☝
Always
Yep saw this one coming, can't wait until you get to Ebonheart Pack, specifically the Rift.
Hell yeah. It'll be cool to visit skyrim once again!
@@FrostbreakYT the rift was my least fav zone next to glenumbra, but once you get to the Reach (greymoor DLC) it's a blast if you're feeling nostalgic for skyrim
Another awesome video and love the avatar!
THanks!
15:35 After you complete all the base game zones, you should do a tier list for them all!
That's the idea! I think I'll do one for each faction. then do a massive one once I've done most of the game.
As a heads up, your companion will prioritize taunting enemies that you are currently targeting, which i find infuriating. But if you switch targets for a couple seconds until the other enemies are taunted, it might be able to help you.
Thanks for the tips! That's good info to know! Thanks for the support!
I understand it ! That's why I love Wrothgar, but really hate Blackwood and High Isle lol
Wrothgar is my first DLC zone I'll be doing! Looking forward to it :)
Not trying to hype you up, but reapers march is awesome, its really important to the khajiit! I really like your content and yeah 2.5 is a fair score for this one!
The hype is real! Thank you for the appreciation and I'm glad you agree with the score !
Never heard of that game before! Once I'm done with ESO I'll probably ask around and see what people are interested in seeing!
this series is on par with the runescape by release series. I do not play nor want to play the game but these videos are so good
I appreciate that! Never heard of that series, but I dabbled in runescape back in the day :)
