Not bad. The writing of the message feels official and not overly-scaremongery. That said, I will nitpick the terminology used in the title, as "Emergency Alert System" is the name of a specific system here in the US through which government messages, no matter how local or all-encompassing, can break into programming in the affected areas via a fully-automated process.
If this were a typical fanmade EAS scenario, those men with knives will eventually unveil themselves as powerful extradimensional entities about to exterminate the entire country.
I hate that these are so real, it messes with my r***rd (my kingdom for the permission to say that word in a comment) obsession with broadcast TV stuff
You have the BBC logo with HTV Wales ident music, an Irish text to speech voice playing over the start of the message... It's definitely a mock. The BBC doesn't have an Emergency Alert System. Messages from HM Government and other services would be broadcast as newsflashes. As far as mocks go, this is a piece of shite.
@@kirkkohnen5050 No, I get that - but there are UA-camrs who post video of genuine emergency alerts which have been issued in their own country, or in other countries, to show people what they look like. This is why things like this need to be marked as a mock.
Thanks for the tip, personally i dont post the videos i make then & manage the channel i'll bring this up with my creative director and we'll mark them as mocks in the future - Steve
I love the authentic voices rather than the more automated ones you see in other EAS’s
Thank you!
How did you get those voices?
@@mockstv9739I think it is an AI voice, but otherwise it would require a hired voice actor who would probably charge a commission
It's a "much better" robot voice, not the goofy robot voice from a Mac Plus so many people use.
I love ur vids bro @@mockstv9739
Just once I would like to hear one if these emergency broadcasts end with,"No! No! Aaaaaaarrrrrrrrgggghhhhh!!!"
Holy shit the authenticity, you deserve more exposure my guy.
We try our best!

@@stevenedwardson4195 you just got a sub
little correction the music at the end is from a now defunct itv station called htv (harlech television)
Yeah i know, I used it because i wanted some difference in the music.

This is amazing! You are gonna blow up soon bro!
Thanks!
holy FRICK dude how are you still at 78 subs? you should have like 100k or something because this is just amazing
how do you only have 61 subscribers? holy smokes dude - you are super underrated. you have earned a new subscriber. you deserve way more subscribers
He now has over two and a half times that, so your wish has come true
i should probably note that not all businesses in the UK would close in an event like this, probably just ones near where the incident occurred
If this were a typical fanmade EAS scenario, those men with knives will eventually unveil themselves as powerful extradimensional entities about to exterminate the entire country.
Ah, yes, classic britain.
Hey, what editor do you useto make these? i would like to make some of these myself.
Kind of cool how in this universe, the BBC merged with HTV :)
nah fam, its probably bbc 1 wales - the best cha-
This would just be a newsflash rather than an EAS alert
It depends it could be a considered a EAS or it could be considered a newsflash
@Jack crawford. It can be whatever the creator wanted it to be.
This is UA-cam. Feel free to skip if you don't like.
That's the beauty.
@@theboardshorts oh no I’m fine with it, I enjoy watching people’s EAS videos!
@@theboardshorts It wouldnt be so bad if they'd actually MARK the video as a mock. This was simply a jumbled bag of crap passed off as a video.

What editing app you use
What site do you use this is excellent!
I use hitflim pro and VEED.IO

Where did they get this kind of analog broadcasts?
Did this really exist? What happened after that?
It was creepy..
this is great! keep it up!
The music is interesting
I hate that these are so real, it messes with my r***rd (my kingdom for the permission to say that word in a comment) obsession with broadcast TV stuff
Well done. Felt real
At the time though, was there an incident like this in real life?
I honestly don't know but theres a possibility it has happened sometime in the past.
It's good, maybe the BBC Video ident would be better than HTV's theme 😅
I wanted some change, and the BBC ident just looked abit bland in my opinion
But the music is from HTV, because of copyright from ITV.
The music at the end is from an ITV region. I can't remember which one.
HTV but i wanted a bit of difference in the video
Thames, osn’t it?
Never mind lol it’s not Thames haha
Uh tha end tune is the 1968 HTV(owned by itv) theme
Yes i know
The jingle at the end was used by Harlech TV. Did the Chepstow incident really happen?
no
Good eas!
0:25-1:01 Can we talk about how hard that goes?
Quick question what exactly is going on in this scenario because I’m a bit confused
Sounds like a terrorist attack
Basically three armed men killed four police officers in Chepstow.
So this was like a pandemic, right?
(I'm American, btw.)
Way off point my friend, four men attacked police officers in wales and the town where it happened was immediately locked down
Creepy 🥶
hey, where did you get the background? I can’t find it.
I used the actual BBC background from 2001. i edited it to make it shine better then put a VHS effect over it.
Please mark these as mocks. It gets very confusing trying to filter through them
