Was in hospital for 3 months. Medical bills reached 3/4 of million, but insurance only is allowed to pay only 15% of the bill. Extensive damage shattered ankles, legs, hips, spine 4 vertebrae’s, and every rib on left side was fractured. Tboned me turning left and this insurance company tried to say I was at fault. The ass was turning left and on phone. My attorney really didn’t want to sue because it would of been lengthy trial so we settled just under 400k. The injuries are life long and full time job went to part time and probably retire in another year. Injuries are life long , using wheelchair ♿️ and cane to get around. Of course I had to pay my insurance company back, pay back the TDI I collected because I paid for the coverage, and even some doctors involved. All in all I got $136 k, my attorney got$102 k and the rest paid out. I’m still screwed for life. Your right they don’t give a shit about the claimant.
You don’t have to pay the insurance back if you haven’t been made whole which obviously you have not been made whole why did you pay the insurance back You’re a pain and suffering and debilitation you have not been made home by $400,000 you would need several million don’t know why you paid the insurance back
No lawyer ever tells you how much money you will get
When people bring up how much is worth makes me aware these people wont heal. I want my body to feel for 2 months tops after one week in and my car is gone. I got fired. For my accident was night before first day ESP after covid. My first car is gone, my 2nd lawyer hasnt contacted me yet. Im a felon for fake crime in los Angeles which led to gangstalking and for ever fired from aerospace. Im diwn two cars , I now have 34$ and I have feeling case was dropped. Downey ca pd will find a way gangstalk me into false claims case. Still havent gotten my rental car either... Hoe can people dobthis

I was hit ( T boned ) by a young girl of 26 who was at fault. She was given a ticket at the scene. I was knocked out, had two broken lower teeth in front, a broken sternum, many contusions and deep bruises... and my hand was sprained. I also had about a half inch deep gash on my knee where my knee broke off the key in the ignition ( they think). I was wearing my seatbelt and it saved my life. I was taken to the hospital but released. I’ve been through tons of scans and physical therapy. I have dizzy spells and headaches and am seeing a neurologist who has tested me and found issues in my right side with balance. I later fell and broke my wrist due to balance issues. I hired an attorney the first week after the accident because the girl’s insurance company was calling me for a statement repeatedly, and I was injured and in bed. My attorney stated I would never have to talk to them without her present. The girl only has the min. amount of insurance in my state which is 25,000. I had MEDPAY up to 25,000 Under my auto insurance plan, and I have uninsured / underinsured up to 100,000. My case is still on going. The girl was totally at fault although they are only accepting 80 percent or so of the fault at this point. The accident happened in Ga. There were witnesses who were interviewed by the police who stated the girl was at fault. I’ve only talked to my attorney twice, and it’s been over a year since the accident. Her clerks wanted me to do all the work to gather records for them from doctors’ offices and physical therapists , which I did later on because they stated it would save me money...these lawyers are lazy and want you to do all the work. Covid has made this whole process a nightmare....even gathering records is difficult because you often cannot just drop by to pick up records...have to call out of state and pay for them out of your pocket. Everything moved at a snails pace. Also, my car was totaled, and I had to purchase a new vehicle. I was reimbursed but not for what I felt it was worth. My medical insurance is paying most of my bills, but they will expect to be reimbursed. After this attorney, who is supposed to be a good one, finally gets down to negotiating, I feel like I MAY get 5000.00 out of this after the lawyer gets the lion’s share and my medical insurance gets the rest. Still I was lucky to walk ( hobble ) away to the ambulance from that accident....she never slowed down and hit me at 45 MPH. By the way, I found MEDPAY to be almost totally useless since I was often required to pay for medical necessities and dental repair out of my own pocket (thousands of dollars) and then wait months for reimbursement. If you think you are going to get rich (Get a bundle of money) because you were the victim of a car accident, think again.
Because they covered after the guys insurance ran out. So Medicare and Medicaid took over. But they got only a portion reimbursed of what they paid. I even had to pay back a portion of TDI I received from my own insurance at work. Only portion was paid too. But thank God I am still able to function not at where I want to be but great full anyway to be alive.

good day atty, I was injured in a car accident, I have suffered 4 front teeth injury, nasal bone fracture, lip laceration and some wounds and bruises, i want to ask how much compensation am i eligible to get? the driver is at fault
they ran a light...but their insurance is 30/60/30 so im confused what my max is. they have admitted guilt. the two ither things are ...1. my airbags didnt deploy this was a serious crash my car was totled and 2. my car was totaled i am now upside down in it. So 30/60/30 will be enough to cover my car loss? i am in treatment for my neck, back and legs
A cop ran a red light and hit me missed a week of work totaled my car and there dash cam proved they was in the wrong….

@@GooLGaming niggggga damnnnn I must’ve gotten real lucky I got into a car accident but wasn’t at fault had no license , no registration, I was hurt had to call the ambulance & cops, no one cared about my license after my story and I.d was handed over got my license the very next day and registered my car that was totaled as well that made my ticket go away once I went to court. My brother went to jail for the same thing but he was state in his car that was someone else’s from an auction but never sent paperwork to dmv. Got out and sued them.

How much would be a drunk driver under influence of alchoha and many drugs hits a family of 4 totaled car! Driver has tibial platue fracture and doesn’t want to drive. Back passenger had perforated bowel, multiple broken ribs, severe concussion and 4 months later mixing up words still, 6 stitches in the head with scar, off for 4 months, 3 road in ambulance. 12 year old doesn’t want o ride in small cars only trucks still! Back passenger was in hospital for 3 days? Just curious if you could give me a rough estimate. Thanks!
I was in a head on crash had surgery I now have CPS in my right hand & upper arm, unable to return back to work, My attorney force me to accept a low ball figure of 50k leaving me maybe with 10 because of the policy limit of the responsible party & Medical bills which were covered by my insurance!! Isn’t there something that can be done to receive more money!!!

Hello can I ask a question a person that hit me was at fault he got a citation I had therapy for 2 months due to whiplash the adjuster made a low ball offer my attorney said second offer was 23k I still have pain in my back from the accident at times my lawer thinks that's all I'll be able to get from adjuster he sent the demand letter for 88k is there something wrong here am I missing something?

It's always tough to figure out what the exact damages are, and a lot of the time it depends on the available insurance. Sometimes, the policy limits barely cover initial treatment.

@@gutenbird I had more than one that only wanted more money and no guarantee of winning against a GIANT like Crooked WELLS FARGO who has been in the news where they have paid out BILLIONS in settlements. NOBODY even wants to talk when I mention who did this too many. Sad part is they got away with it.

I guess that the 60% for the for the client and 40% for the attorney isn't realistic in anyway.i just took a 35k settlement today and my attorney whom is a well known law office in my state told me I'm going to get 14k. Where iwS expecting 20k. I'm confused and disappointed.
@@michaelhartin72 is your case close? Did they end up giving you more than 14K? Attorney’s usually get 33% of your settlement. What type of injuries did you have? Do you deal with any chronic pain?
