This is the only way to fly right here. You are going to love that blower, especially with the hydraulic chute rotator and hydraulic chute deflector, you don't have to leave the cab until you are done. I like the country setting you are in there, looks you have a very nice place.
Just picked up the same model. Any issues with the stock skid shoes? Debating on bigger ones to avoid digging in. I may see how 1st winter goes. Great video, thanks.
So far I’ve had zero issues with the stock shoes. I’ve put about 25 hrs on the blower. Our driveway is fine gravel, a rougher driveway might not be as kind.
Make sure your pto shaft isnt at too much of an angle when its on because its hard on the joints. We try not to lift our blowers up very high when their on
Absolutely! I almost have the opposite problem. Lowered the PTO shaft is at a pretty good angle and lifting up about half way will straighten it up. Typically I try not to lift it above 2/3 up while it is on.
It’s all based on feed rate. It will blow super wet snow just as far as dry snow IF you give it the time to do it. The 4066R I have is 52 pto HP and I would like a little more when I’m moving the first pass of wind packed or wet snow. Generally you can expect 30-75’ of throw distance. It’s hard for me to give an exact amount because when we move snow in SD the wind is normally blowing.
A front mount blower certainly would be ideal. However, the cost associated with a front mount blower is over twice a rear mount. A front 3pt and 540 PTO is ~$12,000. A skid steer type blower for the FEL with hydraulic power pack is pushing ~$14,500....
With the light on it looks like you are throwing fire out that shoot! What a blessing.
That guy in the picture is outstanding in his field.

It sure did fill in. That blower is a life saver.
Yes, very nice tool in the snow arsenal!
wow, it keeps coming, and blowing . We have had thst type of mid moist hard packed powder, its some nasty stuff to move. Glad you got the SnowBeast!!
That thing is a beast!!! Ever think about putting up a temp snow fence lol?
Yes it is. Putting up a snow fence would require time I don’t have in the fall. One year the trees will be tall enough and it won’t be a worry. Lol
Thanks for the great video buddy
Thanks!
Great shots with the 2nd camera.
Thanks!
I want to do this to the same machine. Only place I can find the same motor is Australia. I am from Canada can you tell me where you got yours?
Sweet! Better than using a loader. I call it a fuel saver
I have no idea how many hours it would have taken me with a loader to clear the driveway after that wind storm.
Blowers pay for themselves in due time. We all know time is $ and so is oil, fuel & maintenance. Great investment!
For those that say inverted are the best, try this job on for size. Not going to happen.

Man, that wind is relentless!
Is it like that all year 'round?
Just in the winter! Haha... We get some big winds in the summer but not as frequently as in the winter.

How far would you say that blower throws snow loaded down vs 6 inches of snow.
It’s all based on feed rate. It will blow super wet snow just as far as dry snow IF you give it the time to do it. I would prefer front mounted blower rear to hard on the neck

Is that blower available front mount?
Yes you can mount it in the front but you need a front three point and PTO which will run an additional $7,000+
Get a drone.
I'd love a drone but they are expensive and it would take months and months of videos to afford one.
