Ren's voice has indeed matured, it's totally normal, male voices hit the pinnacle in their early thirties, which is now for Ren, and his voice is definitely one of his instruments.
Ren did a great behind the scenes video on how mixed the sounds in the performance. He definitely added reverb in places. Definitely worth watching. Thanks for the excellent reaction.💕👍🦇

I agree with Andy on his take that Ren’s voice, his control, his falsetto are getting better and better. I was so impressed with the runs he did in this song! This performance was flawless, as is his new one Back on 74/Message In A Bottle.
I think because his vocal skills are so dam frickin awesome his guitar skills are often over looked , the boy can play on another level, I would give a lung for his guitar skills

I would hope his treatment is working , Slow but true. And he is just getting better ! Not really sure how much better he is going to get. But I feel we are going to get some pretty great things from REN ! To me this mash-up is a diary of his progress. Reason: did not mention anything with the system of the world. The Brits musically invaded America in the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s. Then, music became ultra commercial and America only played its own stuff and crowded them out of the airwaves from the 90’s on. Such a shame when you consider artists like Ren, Amy Winehouse, Rag ‘n’ Bone Man, etc don’t even get a look into the US market anymore. Not only do people lose out, but music as a whole loses. I don’t entirely disagree but I think platforms like YT can be a major help to artists in overcoming these kind of prejudices. I find it astonishing that James Arthur for example isn’t that well known Stateside and he is arguably the greatest modern contemporary, make, vocalists and he’s also a really talented song writer🤷♂️

But I mean no disrespect if you have listened to Ren in whatever genre you enjoy then listen to great artists who sing or rap etc in the same genre You have just heard from Ren. Then although they may be great and have a good tune. It's nothing you haven't heard before and what many others can do. What sets ren above in my opinion. Is that not only does he do it expertly, but in his own style and with something a bit different. I listen to people I love and am now disappointed because its good but nothing new. He isn't GOOD FOR A WHITE man. Or average. He to me is colourless. And right now no one can touch his talent. Please tell me anyone who can do everything can do musically. Sing, spit, rap, croon, soul, reggae, hip hop,etc. Play the guitar the way he does, play piano etc etc, do one shot music videos, act, direct, write music, all this on top of being physically and mentally mucked up. He is a once in a life time artist. The worst thing he could do is sign a deal unless he has total control and them deals don't happen. He doesn't need a record company to bring out his talent. But they will try to convince him they will make him rich. F that. He would make them rich. So yeah I loved this tune. But tell me what makes it better than everyone else. Ps. Listening to King Dotta for first time. 43 secs into The Man and you are not bad mate (that's a londoner compliment )

Yeah, on Patreon, the mixing was really interesting. Used EQ and reverb play to make parts 'twinkle" or be more intimate. Andiroo would love that.
