Jerry's tuxedo pants go nice with the sport coat. Dean just loved Jerry and vice versa! What a great friendship!

So awesome seeing Jerry give Dean that gold record for his millionth recording of 'That's Amore!' Dean really deserved it. He was such an amazing guy and I think it was wonderful that his partner, Jerry Lewis, was the one who got to give it to him.

Martin Lewis I wonder what happened to the presentation case they usually come in? I've never seen a gold record presented like that as just the plain LP (and with Jerry putting his fingerprints all over it as well - a touch of his well-known childish jealousy of Dean showing here perhaps?)

No jealousy . He didn't need to be jealous at all! don't see why! Insecure yes, but never envious! He had all the talent and charisma to attract millions of people :) which actually happened!

@@lindashelley3635 That' Amore Jerry bought for Dean!!! He spent a good $30,000 of his OWN money because he wanted Dean to have a song that hit the top of the charts!! Maybe you don't know, or pretend not to know, that Jerry wrote many letters to everyone he knew in the entertainment business to RECOMMEND Dean and get him MORE WORK AS A SINGER ALONE, WITHOUT JERRY!! And you can find one of these letters online if you look for it! YOU ARE HATEFUL FOR ALWAYS WANTING TO SPLIT THOSE TWO!!

sophie75 LOL that was so funny! Then he turns the cooler on Dean as well! (Dean's face was funny too) It seems like that Jerry was always turned on by water! It happened other times...he was hilarious!

It had been such a great episode, the perfect sketches with Jerry much more submissive to Dean than he normally was. Dean had sung "That's Amore" before without any problems from Jerry. And I remind those who say that Jerry was jealous of the success of the song, that Jerry BOUGHT IT FOR 30,000 DOLLARS because he wanted at all costs a song for Dean that would reach first in the charts. No, I don't think Jerry was jealous of Dean's success at all. Rather I think he saw something behind the scenes, just before Dean's performance, that made him jealous. That reaction of his seemed like a real jealous scene from Jerry for Dean (and not for the song). After all, he kept repeating "you're mine". Jerry was wrong. Surely. But who knows what really happened.

The faces Jerry makes are hilarious. An exaggeration of the nervousness and insanity of life.

I believe it’s because Jerry was a workaholic. He craved working and dean didn’t want to go down that road. Dispite the love they had for each other and the talent that had. They decided to go thier seperate ways. They still pulled each other’s legs, they never hated one another they just had different likings, so there it is

this is the episode where, at the end, dean sings ‘that’s amore’ and jer interrupts him...things kinda go off the rails. why is it cut out?

I can see why people are uncomfortable with his immense talent! Many people don't like great talent in others . It's not safe...people usually prefer "safer" people! I love you Jerry! I appreciate your incredible charm, intelligence, and superior talent!
