One of my favorites with that '5 minuets remaining' part. I love how relaxed Dean looks just before Jerry gives him a big kiss. Classic Martin and Lewis. Absolute gold.
I do enjoy watching these old shows so much that sometimes I think I was born in the wrong era.

love how they include the band and Dick the band leader into the act. At the after Jerry kiss Dean and Jerry jump into Dicks arms. Dick has to be Rick on key and trust on Jerry part. Great team work all the way around

Anybody know when Colgate dropped the "peet" from the corporate name, was Peet ever a brand of anything?
They dropped it in 1953. There were soaps sold under the Peet's name while it was still an independent company, e.g. "Peet's Crystal White," before Peet Brothers and Palmolive merged. And at least into the 30s (in the Colgate-Palmolive-Peet period) there was a "Peet's Mechanics Soap." (That's just one example I found, there may have been other products as well.) In short, yes, there were various soap & detergent products under that name
Hi Ive just subscribed. Wondering if you would know which Colgate Hour they did a sketch with Dean being a dance instructor. I saw it few years ago, but don't know where. It was so funny when Jerry did his dance. I would love to see it again. thanks Lindy
