Fun Fact: This is the first video I watched of your channel back in late 2015. Great to see how much you and your channel have grown over the years and will continue to watch your fun vids.
show respect to ZNA he didnt make a UA-cam channel to receive hate he did it to help other people who have some requests to make something cool, and so he could show others how to make some protective gear. once again show respect
You know what dude? Sometimes I don't even watch these videos to learn something or be taught how to build a cool thing, sometimes I watch them because you feel like a friend. You're a cool dude, keep doing what you're doing.
When we get videos of great quality both entertaining and clever it is worth waiting for! It is extreamly interesting watching your builds as they progress and how you evolve!
Mr. Alpha, Please don't let the haters get you down, and for the LOVE OF GOD, DO NOT STOP MAKING VIDEOS. THEY ARE THE KEY TO MY SURVIVAL IN THE EVENTUAL COLLAPSE OF SOCIETY. Or at least part of the key. It's a key with many parts, let's just say that. Also, it's not like I have the money (or a job in general) to make any of these things right now, but one day I'll be able to make my very own After Earth Survival Armor! After Earth as in after society collapses, not named after that horrible movie. It will be the real life equivalent of either Batman's armor, or the Red Hood's (Grappling gun placed on hold pending release of the proper technologies required to make a pistol sized gun that can not only hold a grown man's weight, but pull him up to a length of 50-70 stories or so in only seconds). Short Version: Don't quit, we need you.
I have immense respect for your videos, ingenuity, artistry, and comedy. I always look forward to these videos, thank you for posting as often as you do.
This stuff is amazing! I've been working with wood and really primitive materials/tools to start crafting whatever I can. I've made swords, an axe/hammer, modified semi-weapons like bats and chains, and I've just started dabbling in armor. The samurai layering technique seems really efficient and resource savvy. Bravo, man! Keep at it!
I did this recently, but with Kevlar instead of Canvas and a bit more steel on the forearm piece. Bruh, this was so much fun. LOVE the channel, love your work, keep it up.
I'm Glad to see more people out there doing cool stuff with PVC, and Props to you for deflecting those fools who would try and build themselves up by using the criticism of others. Keep the creative mind going and the Artwork flowing.
Eli, I I had the money I would send you all the steel plates that we got out of my uncles old house when we tore it down, there all 12 inches squared and two mm thick. I'll probably find a use for them but I can see some scale mail out of them. I got 50 of them
have you ever thought about taking blacksmithing as a proffession? you are capable of doing so much with scrap materials, i am REALLY curious what you could do with raw materials, and besides. you look like you LOVE doing this! so why not get paid to do it?
im still inspired everyday by your videos man. i really look forward to these and everytime i see you upload anew one, my day gets a little brighter and i realize my life doesnt suck as much as i thought it did......anyway, thanks a bunch man. Keep on making content my man :D
At least you were honest about putting search words in the title and as a major fan of the Mad Max films i'm not even remotely angry. Because your videos are awesome.
Hey, I really like all the armor stuff you've been doing. My friends and I do a lot of paintball and airsoft, and we're planning on making so armor and blast shields and stuff. When we found your channel, it was so much help. So thanks a ton. I've been doing fabrication since I was 12, and I never even thought of using some of the techniques you use. So thanks again.
Love it ! ! you have a new subscriber here . can't wait to check out the rest of your stuff ! i do not have a garage and limited tools to use but i also love to make primitive / home made weapons and or tools .
gee, the majority of the stuff you make looks like it wouldn't be too out of place in a post apocalyptic vampire series. you really should consider doing something along those lines with all this stuff.
I was impressed with how durable these are even without any metal covers. I gave them a few smacks with a bat and sure enough they held up. You might still feel that but its definitely gonna take a big chunk of the blow
I love how Eli knows so much just by trial and error. I love this channel and Eli is very creative but it's so cool how much you can do with common sense, smarts, and creativity (and a lot of hobby lobby XD)
Well played! if you had uploaded this before I got nailed in the arm by a ricochet knife I might not have a 2 inch long scar on my elbow haha, They look great haha.
Not a criticism, but an honest suggestion to possibly improve future project designs. I noticed that when you cut out the sack cloth layers, (looking at the stack at about the 2:40 mark in the vid) They were all cut out with the weave running the same direction. When working with woven materials, and using them for structure, having the weaves run in different directions will increase the structural integrity by transferring energy in different directions through each layer. (The kevlar in bullet proof vests use this concept)
+ZednoughtAlpha its fine, I love your design though, im actually trying to figure out the best way for Samurai style armor, not sure if I should use pvc or steel... any suggestions?
+Joshua Hammond I mixed my armour with carbon for the main protection and some chain mail as the joint armour but carbon or steel is REALLY good armour but of course titanium is the best
Man you really are one of the best youtubers. I seriously appreciate you being real with your fans and making such high quality videos. Also, I can't stop listening to Proleter because of you and Muselk.
I am So Hyped for this project! :D I personally just love armor builds in general. In fact, I think it was one of your videos where I saw completely home-made armor for the first time, I think it was the helmet in Homemade Weapons Part 2. Anyways keep up the great work!
Quick tip while making something that requires a fabric with a lose weave cut the first layer normal and the next at a 45° and repeat until you have the desired amount of layers so that if something pokes or stabs it has less of a chance of going through
i really like your build videos and i know how hard it is to get supplies constantly and deal with the hate comments just keep up the good work and like your samurai armor
You defiantly deserve all of ur subs u are the best building guy on UA-cam I've seen in my life. P.S I'm not being sarcastic I ACCTUALY mean it you need to keep on going. STAY STRONG FOREVER BRO
You inspired me to start my own homemade weapon videos I dont have all the tools you do so the weapons dont look as nice but they look like they are from fallout but they still function
I had an idea for a build "Skateboard shield" 1. I took the wheels off of my old skateboard 2. Remove all nails 3 drill new holes into the skate board and attach the handle with rivets or bolts 4 attach the strap doing the same method Optional Bolt aluminium wings to each side Option Put in a gap in the alminium
You also could try making throwing knives out of large bolts by flattening them then using an angle grinder to put a tip on them and also sharpen them.
Just found your channel a few days ago and I've been really enjoying your content. Not only really cool builds, but fucking hilarious. Great job keep it up
i always liked the scrounge up and reuse idea for my projects and yes i get called a bottom feeder for it but its a way and I like it. haters need not apply
Fun Fact: This is the first video I watched of your channel back in late 2015. Great to see how much you and your channel have grown over the years and will continue to watch your fun vids.
Great build yet again, and is it just me or is the best part when he talks about things he did like putting mad max in the title to get more money
Same 😂
Wow that's very rude. Get a life bruh
+Brandon Messing you gotta do, whatcha gotta do my friend.
show respect to ZNA he didnt make a UA-cam channel to receive hate he did it to help other people who have some requests to make something cool, and so he could show others how to make some protective gear. once again show respect
to get a small loan of a million dollars
I love how honest and relatable this guy is. Like hes one of our buddys always wanting to show off what he made. Great job man.
You know what dude? Sometimes I don't even watch these videos to learn something or be taught how to build a cool thing, sometimes I watch them because you feel like a friend. You're a cool dude, keep doing what you're doing.
Well at least he is honest... xD
Yassss
yeah, very good thing

no one is as prepared for the skeleton war as you are.
Boba Phat so true
The most badass looking bracer, and gauntlet combo I've seen in a long time. They look like they would fit in on any movie set with no problem.
Your wit is just as beautiful as your creations.
You should totally do a homeless weapon/armor project to see if you can weaponize a bunch of trash that you could find around town.
This would be awesome
I realize it is pretty randomly asking but does anybody know a good website to stream newly released movies online ?
@Lyric Nash I dunno I use Flixportal. Just search on google after it=) -markus
@Markus Alexzander thanks, I went there and it seems to work :D Appreciate it!
@Lyric Nash Glad I could help =)

Bruh, this was so much fun. LOVE the channel, love your work, keep it up.
Must have been pricy, how much was the Kevlar?
Will I am You can get it for dirt cheap if you go to a junkyard and collect air bags. (from cars to be specific) Its made of kevlar.
Thanks man.
The pure honesty of his personality is what's most refreshing about this channel.
I'm beginning to think you're obsessed with rivets hahaha XD
I'm Glad to see more people out there doing cool stuff with PVC, and Props to you for deflecting those fools who would try and build themselves up by using the criticism of others.
Keep the creative mind going and the Artwork flowing.
came for madmax, stayed for bracers
I love these kinds of builds! Keep up the awesome job Eli
Eli, I I had the money I would send you all the steel plates that we got out of my uncles old house when we tore it down, there all 12 inches squared and two mm thick. I'll probably find a use for them but I can see some scale mail out of them. I got 50 of them
Jesus! Incredible skill man. Such Clever ways to make what you make
have you ever thought about taking blacksmithing as a proffession? you are capable of doing so much with scrap materials, i am REALLY curious what you could do with raw materials, and besides. you look like you LOVE doing this! so why not get paid to do it?
Elder Rusty bro what do you think he’s been doing

this dude is great. making things I have always wanted and he has a great attitude
Will there be a mask or helmet included in this project?
Gregory House i hope
Gregory House full armour set is what he said, so I'm hoping that there will be
Gregory House And the helmet shall have no slants, for the man wearing it is clearly Japanese, you racist.
*This is totally a joking reference.
Your builds are amazing I've been watching you for years now and your builds just get better and better keep up the good work
He drew Saskatchewan!
1:35
I don't have half the tools it would take to make something like this, but your presentation sold me anyway. Consider myself subscribed.
Do you know if those would be SCA legal?
+Joshua Hammond No idea, sorry.
+ZednoughtAlpha its fine, I love your design though, im actually trying to figure out the best way for Samurai style armor, not sure if I should use pvc or steel... any suggestions?
Joshua Hammond For contact sports I would go with steel, as PVC has a tendency to shatter.
+Joshua Hammond You'd have to modify/add a proper gauntlet to the bracer, but it should be.
+Joshua Hammond I mixed my armour with carbon for the main protection and some chain mail as the joint armour but carbon or steel is REALLY good armour but of course titanium is the best
I love your videos man
Its like making armor for dummies
I love the breakdown of the overall build
Good stuff keep it up.
He has a butt ton of videos that I love and wish I. Had the amour in the vidieo
