  • The Combat Vehicle 90 (CV90) is an armored vehicle originally developed for the Swedish Army by FMV, Hägglunds and Bofors, and currently in production by BAE Systems. The CV90 and its variants are used by the Danish, Finnish, Norwegian, Dutch, Swedish and Swiss Armies.
The CV90 is integrated with a Bofors 40 mm or Bushmaster 30 mm or Bushmaster 35 mm/50 automatic cannon as the main weapon. The weapon station is remotely controlled and equipped with a 7.62 mm machine gun and a 40 mm automatic grenade launcher.
The CV90 protects its 10-person crew from IEDs, anti-tank mines and rocket-propelled grenades. Survivability can be further increased with the installation of a Defensive Aid Suite (DAS) and radar and infrared detection reduction systems. Powered by a Scania V8 diesel engine, the CV90 is capable of speeds of 70 km/h and a range of 900 km.
