bought that guitar because of your performance on that telecaster, sold my two guitars btw. (a gibson sg and my casino). Thank you for that cool video.
Awesome!!! I play an American made Tele but this thing sounds great! As a matter of interest, I've ordered a Harley Benton TE-52 as a back-up but I'm sure it'll get a lot of playing time :)
A lot of people miss the fact that the “sound” of ACDC was actually a Gretsch, not a SG. Angus gets the spotlight for his leads and stage antics, but Malcolm was the one holding it down with the iconic riffs on his Gretsch with a filtertron pickup.
It sounds too much brighter than the original guitars for my taste. He could've rolled the tone knob off. The originals sound clear and definite enough.
The Harley Benton te 52 is a really really nice guitar. It’s unbelievably nice. I was seriously shocked when I got mine. I did remove the strings and polish the frets tho. They don’t really polish them from the factory. But that’s it. I got this thing to be considered a beater that I could leave laying around the house without being in a case. It’s so nice that now I’m going to get one for it.

The Telecaster does it ALL 🤟🏻. They can thump Johnny Cash, cry Hank Williams, and scream AC/DC 🎶😎. I been through several guitars in my life but the one I’m keeping forever is my American Tele 😎
Wow, I had no idea the tele would sound better than the sg. Don’t get me wrong I love Gibson as well, but these days I find myself reaching for the tele by far more than the Les Paul.
I’m a huge AC/DC fan. They are one of the best rock bands of all time. And somehow have two of the best singers in their history. Brian Johnson is as good as Robert Plant to me. And that’s saying a lot. I’m a huge Stratocaster fan. Fav guitar hands down although it’s hard to put down a quality SG once you pick one up. Recently I purchased a tele and I’m so blown away. After refusing them for years I am converted. They sound like nothing else. I can’t imagine Angus running around with one haha unless he swapped the school boy thing for a cowboy getup. I was curious about anyone playing AC/DC on a tele and came across your vid. Really awesome. Thanks!
Nice Tele mate it shows that it’s getting harder to buy the more expensive guitars now days ac/dc ark up I use to watch them live back in the day here in Australia great times rock on.....
Thank you! I just tried some different sounds and thought this guitar feels well in the Hard Rock corner. I played straight in to Bias amp and tweaked a little bit on the Plexi preset. It was pretty good out of the Box, i only had to polish the frets.
Well played. HBTE-52's are great guitars. I really like the HB guitars I've bought from Thomann. Their shipping time has improved to. No i don't work for them 😁 Thanks for the demo and really good playing. 👍
Nice playing man ! i'm a big fan of AC/DC and Harley Benton. This is freshly recorded,.. how long do you have this TE 52 ? Just wanna know or it are the Wilkinson pickups or the newer Roswell's . Can't see it well, but according to the tone, i think Wilkinson pickups. Also, this is ( i think ), not the new headstock logo ? So far the pictures on Thomann are not yet updated, altough you can see the new logo on the new black CST 24. Much better, take a look. Don't know or that same logo shape will appear on all of the models. And some are silver, some are gold. Gonna take a look at yout BIAS-patch on Cloud. Great played backing tracks also ! Nice job. Did you posted them somewhere ? Because this is far better quality than on those regular backing track sites. Thanks and greetz from Belgium. Gonna check out your other vids. BTW: Didn't see anybody play that accurate tone sounding AC/DC on a Tele. Soon i'll buy this one too.
Thank you very much! I got this guitar in january. It has the Roswell pickups and the old headstock. I only recorded the small parts as backing tracks. But maybe i'll do some tracks of the whole Songs sometime. Yeah, i thought it would be something different to play the songs on a tele ;)
It's defenitly different.. but would not able to hear or it was an SG Gibson or this one. That's due to BIAS AMP also of course. Great software. You can match pretty everything. Keep up the vids, preferable AC/DC ;D
Johannes Silver I just ordered a Squier affinity Tele and it comes in later today (1am rn) and yeah squier are pretty damn good guitars they have decent quality control and overall don’t sound far off from an American just a little less chimey
I had a Squier Affinity Telecaster but thought the pickups were poor. Sold it and now have the TE-52 HB tele with Roswell pickups. Fantastic replacement/ upgrade for half the price
you are very good and congratulations for the piece, but to pass the guitar is a musical instrument is nothing short of pity. I have been playing for 30 years and having sold my canvases I decided to take harley benton te 52, .. a shameful thing !! not even fire comes to us! I also painted it to reassemble it, 50 mm of paint, the soft wood like the bread, the pitiful handle ... in short ... it is not recommended to be serious. I resold it being completely honest with the buyer who still took it for the positive reviews he had read. no comment!
@@SRguitar screw them. Really stupid rules which have nothing to do with common sense! Great playing and tone btw. How do you rate this guitar compared to squier of the same price range?

That is actually a damn good AC/DC tone on a tele. The thing is, the tone is not as heavy and overdriven as one might think. Very well done!
IKR!? Most people oversaturate. They only use(d) Marshalls at 11. Best Regards!
Great job man!
The secret to play AcDc is set a soft overdrive. You need to hear the string
Great job, crazy sound without burning the bank

Love the clarity and definition as compared to an SG

Teles are very under rated as rock guitars
A good Tele can do anything
Not really, do you know Keith Richards, Jimmy Page, Andy Summers... ?
@@Owen_plays_music1049 don't forget John 5.

Malcolm could have totally gigged with a Tele. Awesome job Sasha.
There are pics of Malcolm playing a tele live.
Sounds awesome to me especially Hells Bells
Very nice job of capturing this material - bravo!
Thank you!
Pete towsend yound doing acdc riff , amazing
great job... thunderstruck needs more gain!
It’s because he was playing a single coil pickup and Angus plays humbuckers
Nice bro love it. Tele sounds awesome!
Thanks! 🤘

Great playing! That Harley Benton sounds good too! Those guitars are hard to beat! They're great and cheap too!👍😎🎸🎶
I know what the guitar is capable of because I own one. But I can't play it like you. Awesome job my friend.
Brilliant loved this😎
I have to say for a cheap guitar it certainly looks fantastic
It plays fantastic as well ;)
