How to do Lion's Head Sunrise Hike, Cape Town, South Africa

During our Cape Town, South Africa vacation in April-May 2024 we managed to climb up the famous Lion's Head. Per our guide Justin's advice we did the sunrise hike starting about 6 am from Cape Town, Sea Point. Lion’s Head isn't that tall but is pretty challenging when it comes to maneuvering with rocks, staples, ladders and chains. It’s normal to feel dizzy when climbing those rocks and looking down the steep slope. At the end, it was rewarding. The four hour hike was worth doing.
