Hi, Ryan , congrats for your pedagogical tutorials. BEST in UA-cam. Specially the one about volleys nd the position of the elbows. I,ve painted some portraits of tennis players and would like YOU see them. How can I post them?
Hi, Ryan.Congrats for your great tutorials, the BEST in UA-cam. Especially the one about volleys and the position of the elbows. I've painted some tennis players and would like YOU see them. How can I post them? And Ryan, thanks for your videos, you,ve improved my game. I've GOT some biographies on tennis players, LOVE to send them to you
Thanks Ryan, incredible videos, however I have a Q here - what if opponent’s cross court shot lands just 1-2 inches before baseline ? Then we won’t have an option but to move parallel to baseline from middle, correct ? This will make us stand outside baseline and hit the return. If we go V-shape and land inside baseline, our positioning will be awkward correct ? Any tip to overcome this ?
Love your videos, Ryan! I very much appreciate how you are always able to break things down into simple but helpful bits and focus on just a single aspect . In this particular one, the cone in the middle messes with my mind, though. After hitting a cross-court forehand or backhand, that is not where you would recover to, is it?
You are correct. But I wasn’t focusing on that. I was simply focusing on the “V” movement. But yes, you are correct. Recovery depends on where I hit the ball to. Thanks!!!
I do not. I’m not an affiliate for slingerbag. I love their bag so I really should contact them and ask to be one if they offer it. Thanks for asking!!!
Hi Ryan, Those were the balls bounced well in the court. What if the balls bounce at the baseline, and there isn't time to take the ball out of the air or volley? Thanks.
It may be difficult to use this footwork on really deep balls they land near the base . But the vast majority of balls land well within the court allowing for the use of this footwork strategy.
The problem with the "perpendicular" argument is that you have slightly more time to move parallel with the baseline. But, I'm guessing the advantage of moving perpendicular is that you're a bit closer to the net and, hence, can hit a slightly deeper, stronger or more angled shot (from the perspective of the opponent). Is that right?
Amazing weather you have, but no one person on the court, I can't understand why American people not playing outdoors now?. Here in Moscow we clean the snow for playing and dreams nice weather.☃️🎾🇷🇺
Tennis is popular in the US. There are 12 courts at the school where I film. I always look for courts where no one is playing so I can film is peace. Haha. Thanks!!!
He is probably filming midday when kids are in school and parents are working, so that's why nobody uses the courts at all. Plus where I live schools and parks take the nets off outdoor courts for the winter.
Best channel on YT for learning tennis
Wow thank you so much!!!!
Always a great fan to your videos Ryan, makes alots sense to moved in a v position to hit cross court! I Got This! Cheers

What were the settings on the slinger bag?
So sorry that I don’t know. I replaced my slinger with a spin shot ball machine. I love it.
useful
Hey- recommended movement for receiving a down the line from the opponent? Still V or lateral?
Do you have an affiliate link for a ball machine Ryan?
I do not. I’m not an affiliate for slingerbag. I love their bag so I really should contact them and ask to be one if they offer it. Thanks for asking!!!

I always watch your great video. Very clear verbal instructions and demo.

Absolutely love your tips but I am disappointed to see that you’re an Eagles fan
