Always a pleasure to watch your collection out for a romp on the Lake Shore's mainline! And the variety is outstanding! Hey, listening to the buzz, growl, and rattle of those Pre and Post-War engines makes me think who needs modern sound systems? The old-timers have a charm all their own! Thanks for posting!
Thanks Guss, glad that you liked it. This one was basic re-packaging of clips from past videos, all with the passenger theme. It was during my rehab from knee surgery and could be all done from sitting at the computer.
I really like your nostalgic layout and the great trains you always run. I think that T-Rail track system was the smoothest ever made. Thanks for sharing.
I really enjoyed watching the passenger trains from the different eras. Thanks for sharing. Hard to pick a favorite though I am partial to the Texas Special.
I must say I really liked the frequent mixing and matching of pre-war and post war stuff here! Also, I think I spied a few modern items once or twice because that Rio Grande streamlined diesel looked a bit too shiny to be just well taken care of and I’m not sure if those sound effects were added by you or were actually from the model. Also that green Lionel bulldog nose diesel I think actually is a modern 2010s era set that was released due to the fact that in the 1950s Lionel had planned to do a similar thing but for unknown reasons it never got released at that point. I recall because I was looking through a electronic PDF of a Lionel catalog from a few years ago, and that item was in it, and that’s what it said.
Yes there were a few modern (by a prewar collector's standards) items mixed in. These included the Rio Grande set, Texas Special cars with postwar diesels, NYC cars with postwar diesels, Milwaukee Rd cars with postwar diesels, 1989-issue Hiawatha set. The Green Alco set included 1940's 2400-series cars with postwar Diesels having custom-painted shells. I thought the somewhat random mixing of eras best showed the vast variety that Lionel produced. I did not want it to look like an "evolution of Lionel" video. Thanks for watching and always like to hear your comments. J
I loved seeing your amazing collection of passenger trains, new and old time. Some great F units and beautiful steamers all in fine shape. I like the autos lined up, the easter people, and all the passenger scenes with a variety of passengers. I enjoyed the video, it was very well done.
Yes, Lionel made quite a variety over the period of 1915 to 1969, and my video is far from comprehensive, just my favorites......which I am afraid are out of control!
Thanks for watching and for your comments. We don't allow no looting, no graffiti, no crime. The residents of the LSRR are safe to leave their doors unlocked at night.
Super enjoyable. Where did you find that British telephone kiosk? A few other notes, loved the '57 Ford convertible, and although Lionel didn't intend it to be, but you can't beat the sound system of the early F3.
Thanks for watching. After 50+ years of collecting, hard to remember where any one item came from, but guessing the British phone booth came with a group or lead figures. The 57 "drop-top" is a Hallmark ornament. Yes, the 2333 diesels have a pleasing and unique growl.
Thanks for watching. The layout fills the room, so I can't get back far enough with the camera to get the whole thing in. If you look at some of my other videos, such as the construction and re-construction ones, they show larger views. Classic Toy Trains magazine has an article on the layout (since 2021) hopefully they will publish it some day.
I ALWAYS watch the Lake Shore Railway to see the BEST model trains ever made!!!!!
Thanks for the kind comments. I enjoy sharing my collection of over 50 years.

Yes you are right, they definitely have a sound of their own. Thanks for watching.
Struck in awe at all of this wonderful equipment here. And the music just adds to it.

The biggest variety of equipment ever seen on solid rail lionel track ! Wonderful !
Thanks for watching
It is always relaxing listening and watching your trains run along your railway! Thank you for sharing.
Thanks for watching, glad you liked it.
Enjoying my morning coffee while ride on the T-rails. No better way to start the day. Rod
Thanks, glad that you enjoyed it. Too much going on lately that I haven't been able to crank them out as often as I used to.

Thanks for watching. The MKT set is at the top of my list too.

Thanks for your comments Steve, I appreciate it. Glad you liked the video.
I forgot to mention the Rio Grande was my favorite with those beautiful cars.@@JFLionelT-RailOperator
As always Jim. Your collection of mint Lionel trains always impresses me. Your video talents are also impressive. Keep up the outstanding work.
Thanks for watching Jack, glad that you liked it. Hope we will still see some new videos from you in the future.
As always, a fantastic video, and ...an actually running Winner! Dogs too! Perfect! Happy Easter and thanks!
Thanks for watching and Happy Easter to you too.
I missed this one somehow . . . Awesome runs from both pre and post-war.
Thanks for watching. This is a grouping of Lionel passenger trains from 1915 to 1969, with a couple of later ones thrown in.
Great Video 👍👍👍
Thanks for watching.
Lots of variations there 👍🏼

Brilliant video, thanks for sharing, loved the British cast road sign just before 11 mins, wonder how that got there
Thanks for watching, glad you liked it. I enjoy mixing Euro and US accessories, stations, signals, as long as they are vintage metal or diecast.
Postwar and MPC Era magne-traction loves solid steel T Rail track more than any other track system!!
Yes, Magne-Traction does work well on T-Rail. Thanks for watching.
I love this video
Thanks for watching.
Marx guy here, maybe as a Cook, I could land a job at your Plasticville Diner. Nice early world surroundings plus no looting. GOD BLESS.

Thanks, the 226E with Madisons is a favorite, but I like the 1946 726 with Madisons almost as much.
