Fun fact: I have booked the A380 First class SUITE on New Years eve from Frankfurt to Singapore. So a New Year celebration in the sky on First will be a memory for life!
Considering this video was published 2 days ago (i.e May24), are you sure you titled this video “Singapore Airlines’ HUGE plan for their A380 SHOCKS the entire aviation industry!” Is really appropriate based on what you reported in the content?? I think what you have covered in the content as in May 2024, is NOT “SHOCKING to the aviation industry” but merely an exaggeration to trick audience into viewing your video. If you don’t agree, please tell us what’s so “SHOCKING” about what you have covered here?! Nonetheless you presented a good coverage on SQ but your title is misleading I’m afraid.
The beginning amounts of A380’s does not make sense. At first the narrator stated there were 12 A380’s, then he stated SA had 14 A380’s. So how many A380’s does SA have, 12 or 14.😊
Singapore Airlines continuity to operate the A380s is NOT for Fun. There is Extremely high demand on Sydney and London Route. Additionally, it's huge plans For the A350s Shocks the entire avaition industry!
These sound effects for switching the pictures are throwing me off. Not really easy to listen to you especially since they are way to loud compared to your voice. I'd get rid of them.
No, because twin engine planes were cleared to fly over oceans far from land, it became feasible to fly direct between more airports on long routes with lower demand with smaller planes. Airbus designed the plane for the expectations of the 1990 market, but by 2010 congested air hubs with passengers changing flights for another leg were less popular.
@@RobBCactive here's one to consider. Correct me if I'm wrong. Etops run at 180 minutes. That's 3 hours. Middle of the Indian Ocean from Australia to South Africa I'm certain is more than 3 hours to land. Same New Zealand to South America. Give me 4 engines and screw the bean counters.
First and foremost!! Boeing should be able to deliver the 777x aeroplanes!! They have huge issues and I don't see them delivering anything to Singapore airlines before 2028 if everything goes well which by itself is a big question which needs to be answered... Simultaneously Comac are coming up with the C939 and C929 which might turn the interest of specially the Asian flight operators towards them which could be a big hit specially for Boeing. This might start the beginning of the end of Boeing in the commercial space
This was just rubbish….none of the seats you showed are new at all….the services are the same on smaller aircraft…..where was the shock? Sick of rubbish like this…you informed us of nothing.
That’s why misleading titled like this type of video should be “reported”! Go ahead and click the report button and videos like this should be discouraged. The created tells us nothing new considering this video was published in May 2024.
You will comfortable, low engine noise, lower altitude pressurisation. Wider seats, more space . Fellow passengers are happy. You will be happy too. Because everyone else is happy in A380. SIA used to have 19 inch economy seats in the first generation A380 planes. Now I think they standardised it to 18 inch economy throughout.
I prefer not to ride the A380. Its too big and too many passengers. A lot of waiting times- from boarding, disembarking and waiting for luggage is a nightmare.
Passenger love of the A380 is part of the reason for reintroduction, but by no means the main reason. The main reason is those clown heads over at Boeing have somehow forgotten how to make planes, and there is a huge backlog of new planes.
If this ugly behemoth of a plane is making a return, carriers should bring back 747-8! I'm sure lots of passengers would love to fly where ever it goes!
They are not always right. They pulled 380 out of NYC route and all business class 350 were changed to business and premium. They have over hired now and as covid era travel boom with bad economy comes they like all other airlines who have jacked up prices will suffer. 2025 watch and see….
A380 is the 21st century of the double decker as of B747 in 20th century. Loved the plane. Missed it so much.

That sounds awesome! Have a great time, man!
Let’s hope your flight will not be delayed 😂
the biggest reason 777 is less fuel thirsty than the a380 isn't that 777 has more efficient engines, it's that there are half as many engines!
What does it help when they can't deliver the plane... Until now it's only a paper tiger....
@@klausschumacher7126 as EADS refuses to build more A380, it's a moot point.
Best plane ever for passengers
No! Its A350,, not only A380
@user-cb3gi9es3l will agree that the A350.is good but for business class the A380 is tops

They have 13 of them registered, of which 10 are in service, 2 in maintenance and 1 waiting to be scrapped from the looks of it.

With all the issues Boeing been having I usually check the aircraft type and look for Airbus only

Will Airbus start to consider relaunch the A380?
Yes
No!
Bean counters say no.

Boeing won't be end, it just gets bigger in the military sector.
@@YouCCP2 I'm talking about the commercial space like the passanger and freighters.

I think you are not getting some facts right.
WOFT - This is all very old news.
Exactly, nothing news here. Misleading titled. Should go and “report” it which i did!

This video was a whole lot of nothing and old news. I think it’s ai generated.
Obeying their master 😂
But A380 is My LEAST favourite plane For this Airline! The comment I wrote is NOT a Clickbait! It's My most Favourite A350 airline.
Bloody commercial!
Waste of time. Repeating details and AI generated probably.
.
Qantas has replaced most of its Australia to US trips from A380 to 787 and the 787 is horrible by comparison.
