Referring to all the nonsense Don has put us through is one good point. However, after that twist in the intervallo, it didn't matter whether you were invested in Don's story before or not, because that event drew all eyes toward Don and sent the idea of what might happen in her canto upside down and sideways. She's now a crouching moron, hidden badass, with a superpowered evil side, sitting on a bomb's worth of power that is her transformation that's only held back by her shoes.
My prediction: Don Quixote will have an ID based on the antagonist of the chapter... and this ID has no shoes, so you can pass that one check in Canto 3 using ONLY this specific ID.
Praying that after canto 7 her bloodfiend self starts interacting with everyone else maybe dropping a comment or two on some stuff like shes an entirely new character
