I love that Prince William doesn't JUST talk, he listens.
And he really listens you can see in his expressions and follow up responses
He listens, he understands, he acts to solve problems...great job Prince of Wales.
I saw a lot of people criticizing The Prince and Princess of Wales for supporting this. The truth is, in his speech at the Coronation concert, Prince William pledged to serve “King, Country, and Commonwealth”. He didn’t say he’d only serve people with a certain view and lifestyle, it’s all people that he promised to serve.
No doubt those that criticised would be the first to complain if he hadn't. Prince William is dammed if he does and dammed if he doesn't.
It’s impressive to me that he can see the mental health issue as being of great concern….he has so much wisdom and compassion towards humans….mental health/illness is a human issue - 🫶🏻
Then he clearly doesn't really believe in God.

Mental health and good communication and support are so important . The Royal Family does not discriminate Racially or Sexually and that's the way it should be . I couldn't be more proud of the man Prince William has become . He will be a wonderful and loyal support to his Father , King Charles , and is one son who can be trusted and relied upon . Our prince of Wales will make a fine king one day , With His dedication to duty , his loyalty ,and having such a strong connection to the public of all ages in the UK and the Commonwealth . It's not surprising that Prince William and his lovely wife are so loved by so many throughout the UK and all over the world. I applaud and respect the Wonderful Prince and Princess of Wales .🎉🎉
The gentleman suggesting to ask ‘are you okay?’ twice 👏🏻 is a great suggestion for us all. Everyday with friends and family. And. In. A. Way. Doing that helps us foster our own self talk and needs. Dealing with stress effectively takes recognition and once acknowledged a bit easier to take steps that help alleviate it. 💕💪🏻

Happy to see this conversation, especially the bit about not needing to wait until you have a crisis to reach out and ask for help regarding your mental health. That was something I struggled with, and it was reassuring to hear others speak about it.

Communication, acceptance and open conversation is imperative to helping those struggling with mental health issues. It's a very interesting point that those who take their lives is not because they want to, but due to the wider community who refuse to accept anyone for whom they truly are. Saya bagian dari orang yang terkena mental health. Selalu overthinking. Jadwal tidur yang berantakan. Selalu merasa ingin nangis dan sedih. Sebelumnya saya anak yang pemberani. Sekarang saya menjadi penakut. Dikit2 takut untuk melakukan sesuatu. Saking takutnya, Di kepala ini terancang masa depan yang hal2 buruk seakan akan akan terjadi jika melakukan sesuatu hal itu. Skizofrenia paranoid. Derita anak skizo paranoid yang akan mundur ke belakang jika disuruh melakukan sesuatu. Bayangan di kepala ini yang penuh ketakutan dan keburukan dan hal hal buruk lainnya akan masa depan dan sesuatu hal. Dengan minum obat dari dokter, rasa takut itu lumayan bisa diatasi dengan tawa dan rasa berani ikut muncul. Kekhawatiran tadi memudar dan timbul rasa percaya diri dan keinginan untuk berprestasi. Tapi di lain sisi, terjadi gangguan pencernaan atau tidak muncul nafsu makan dengan baik. Selera makan nasi tidak stabil dan beralih makan buah dan sayur. Penderita skizo jika lihat ikan maka nafsu makannya akan muncul. Keinginan untuk minum air putih itu banyak hingga kenyang. Keinginan untuk hidup sehat dengan olahraga jalan kaki dan lari cukup kuat. Dan leganya... menjadi pasien yang pintar untuk kembali sehat dan menang melawan penyakit ini memicu hati untuk bahagia ke depannya... 😊😄

I disagree with one of these gentlemen as mental illness is very much an inherited problem. Being bullied may be a trigger-or lack of acceptance can be a trigger but the underlying mental issue is there. It isn’t outside influences that cause mental illness but it can be triggered by outside influences.
