    Maybe a cool idea for the channel: build an offroad buggy ( full blown with car engine, double seater full rollcage and lifted front etc ) and take it to a offroad course?

      Yep. Turn a used FWD drivetrain/subframe into a buggy.

      To do it right you looking at a $5k+ build. I'm in process of building one based off a 400cc atv engine. You have to have a good tubing bender and notch everything or it won't hold up. There is no cutting and filling in with weld joints.
      It sounds like a good idea but it will nickle and dime you to death. I wish I would have just went a bought one of the chinese buggys with a cherry engine.

    • @JokerFromHell
      @JokerFromHell 7 років тому +1

      alli i can say is go to mastermilo's channel, turn on subtitels ( he's dutch ) and witness a junkyard buggy build with an old european car engine, yes you can find them for a hand full of cash. It's save, fast and strong yet it didnt even cost 20% of 5K tho

    .i watch literally 100s of peoples youtube channels,and most have something annoying about them,these two are one of the only exception,they are down to earth,real,aint constantly asking you for shit,Johns obviously rich,but never is cocky about it,they are just two cool dudes,doing cool shit,they are complete opposites yet they fit together so well,it's kind of weird how well they get on,for how different they are .
    Even there go power sponsorship is tolerable,they say what needs to be said,they dont BS,then they get back onto task,just keeping it reel,and they dont use all the corny youtube sayings like PEACE OUT,that got old real quick...but any channel were the people are genuinely passionate about what they are doing is always a winner,im just hanging to see how the new 670,racer goes..i imagine well under 10 seconds,it going to be mad

  • @user-neo71665

    You guys need to replace the pogo spring shocks on that yerf with real coil over shocks. You can pick up some used ones on ebay off a 4 wheeler. That alone will transform the way it rides and handles. I'm not talking about swapping them with new pogo spring replacements everybody sells for buggies/go karts.

    So just a thought, find some rear air shocks from bicycles the smooth out the rides. Some have alot of travel as well. Could be an amsome fab project.

  • @EddyLancerHands
    @EddyLancerHands 7 років тому

    An idea for making the ride better: Valve springs mounted between the seat and frame. Guys with hardtail choppers would mount a Chevy valve spring under the seat to make it nicer to ride. Stock small block Chevy springs start at around 60-70 pounds open and 100-120 at max compression, two or three would be perfect!

    You should try an actual race car seat with 5 point harness that will keep you planted in the seat tighter, and improve the suspension travel and use more of a performance racing shock that will smooth out the ride. Oh and get a racing neck brace it will defiantly save your neck from some of the abuse had you had the seat and the neck brace Ike wouldn't have gotten hurt

  • @nathanbutler8240
    @nathanbutler8240 7 років тому +1

    The murray soaks uo the bumps better because of shock placement you want your shocks as close to the wheel as possible for best results the Murray's shock mount is by the wheel the other go kart looks to be 8-10 inchs away from the wheel causing tje shock not to work properly

    I see a rematch in the future with the 420 governor and low oil cut-off switch removed. Put the Subaru engine in the Murray and you'll be real happy.
    What happened to that weird 2 seat go-cart with the head lights and Tecumseh (crappy-do) engine? That one screened for a better engine.

    As someone who owns one of those murray kilowatts, they are heavy as hell. Also my murray has the gears stripped out on the steering shaft so we welded it to a universal joint. It has some toe out and I never knew that was why it gets sketchy at high speed

    Just wanted to let you guys know if u want the belts to last longer you have to break them in don’t go above 75% throttle and modulate the throttle. In about 40 miles they should be broke in and they will grab much harder. Just saying
