I saw them on the 21st at The Middle East in Cambridge Ma. Great show, so far my favorite show. The venue was small but they really sounded great who ever was working the sound was spot on.
They were always a band associated with the ocean, hence the name. The last album was titled Pirates, so they ran with that theme. Not sure if it will be a permanent thing.
A bit of a marketing strategy to get themselves some attention, but it works thematically as a lot of their music is related to exploration and the ocean.
