Mitchell, at age 6, Angelina took a stroll with her mom Sarah in, I think it was Teheran, in winter with freezing rain. She saw a little girl weighing people on a bathroom scale for a few coins. Beggars go to jail, regardless their age. Angelina imagined herself into this barefoot (scars on the feet) girl with rags on in the freezing rain. Finally they approached and after a bit of shyness on the shoeless girls side they struck up a conversation, Angelina speaks fluently Farsi/Persian, While speaking AJ took her shoes of and stepped on the scales many, many times, so the girl would earn the money . The girl admired her shoes and when her mom nodded consent, she gave her sea green ankle boots to the girl. AJ vowed, to perform barefoot until every child has shoes.

When AJ was very small, she meets a girl on the Steet in a foreign country that was weighing people with a bathroom scale to make money to buy food, the girl did not have shoes, so Angelina took her shoes off and gave them to her. AJ stated she would not wear shoes while performing until ever shoeless child had shoes to wear. AJ has helped raise millions for charity, so she is not just the greatest storytelling signature vocalist in the world, she cares.

Why does Angelina sing barefooted? Angelina Jordan is known as "The Barefoot Princess" or "The Barefoot Princess of Jazz," amongst many other names. She always performs barefooted, whether in front of a live audience or during a studio performance. The story is that while living in the Middle East, at 6 years old, Angelina came across an orphaned girl, of her own age, sitting in the street, weighing people on a bathroom scale to earn money. Angelina said to herself, "I would like to share her life for one second to know what it is like to sit alone, wet, and damp, and barefoot in a corner of the street." Angelina could see the girl's bare feet were scarred and that it was cold outside, so she offered her own shoes to the girl. Little Angelina says that she really loved her shoes, as they were very nice and she knew she would miss them. But she saw the other little girl’s need for them, which outweighed her own desire to keep them. So she insisted the little girl take them.
Angelina called her Princess, even though the girl said she didn't live in a castle, but the ruins of a building next to where she sat. After sharing their hopes and dreams, the little girl said of Angelina's wish to sing for the world, "You will become the one you dream of and when your dreams come true you, have to remember the poor children without shoes; and I will pray for you Angelina.” Later that day 6 y/o Angelina wrote in her diary, "The world is very strange. Right then and there, I felt as if a door in my heart opened up, and it was filled with lots of lights. It was as if there was, from Earth to Heaven, a staircase. I climbed the stairs. To be able to do something for another human - it was such a big thing…hard to describe really.”
From that point on, Angelina takes off her shoes, in honor of ‘Princess’ and all the other less fortunate children of the world, who are orphaned, hungry, or in want of even basic clothing. In 2015, at the age of 9, Angelina wrote a book about the encounter, as everyone continued to ask why she sang barefoot. Her grandmother, Mery Zamani, created the artwork for the book. So at 9, Angelina Jordan became the youngest published author in Norway. Angelina has performed alongside many other artists, raising attention and helping to raise over 21 million euros and millions of dollars for children in need.
That lady crying is Angelina's Grandmother and Mentor. The one that I believe first introduced her to Jazz although I believe that is what she was drawn to regardless.

Absolutely gorgeous performance from a musical genius, After this performance Angelina received a tribute message from the band Queen congratulating Angelina on a amazing arrangement of their original song, and the guy’s from Queen gave Angelina the copyright of her arrangement of Bohemian Rhapsody, this performance has around 100 million views and is considered the best audition on a talent show, Angelina also received the Golden Buzzer and straight to the final of the show, Angelina is so special her technical ability has always surpassed her years, great reaction thanks 🙏

Angelina took off her shoes so as to not get the scale dirty and stepped on the scale many times to make the girl feel better. Angelina befriends the girl who was not wearing shoes and has scars on her feet, and learns she is an orphan. The orphan girl tells Angelina how beautiful she thinks her shoes are. Angelina says her shoes don’t fit her well and she wants to give her shoes to the orphan girl who thanks Angelina for giving her the shoes.
Angelina asked the girl what she wanted to be when she grew up and the girl replied, “I want to become a doctor, but that will never happen since I have no parents and I have siblings so I have to do whatever is necessary for us to survive.” Angelina told the girl to never give up on her dreams. The poor girl asked Angelina what she wanted to be when she grew up and Angelina replied that she wanted to sing for the whole world. The poor girl said she would pray every day so Angelina’s dream would come true.
