    I have been using plantain to make my creami as I can’t easily find white sweet potatoes. Just make sure they are very ripe (even black outside!) So creami and delicious. Just ordered the new book also.

    I got my Creami from Costco - it came with three pints. Have had it for about a week. Really enjoying it.

    Million dollar question…what about pulp from juicing if it would blend okay with your flavors?

    • @KathyHesterVeganRecipes
      @KathyHesterVeganRecipes  19 днів тому

      It depends, but the short answer should be yes if you add some okara, banana, or cooked white sweet potato to give it extra bulk and creaminess.
      If it was mostly watery veggies your pint will be icy without any additions.

    Hi Kathy. I have a soyabella and I feel the milk and okara are very beani tasting. I heard you say that you cooked the milk into the instant pot for 10 minutes. Would it be the same result to cook the okara in the instant pot as well so I could use it in my Creami ? Thanks for all you do !

    • @KathyHesterVeganRecipes
      @KathyHesterVeganRecipes  21 день тому

      That's a great question, and honestly I'm not sure since I wasn't using okara as much when I was using the Soybella.
      I can test it, but it will be June before I can do it. Gotta get this book out into the world first!

    Would psyllium husk work? I have to take it daily for post-gallbladder surgery issues...

    3.9 grams of protein in 1 cup of okara.

    Hi, I just bought my ninja creami and your ebook. I did downloaded it but I would like to print it. I am not able to print more then 20 pages then it froze… I was hoping you can help me

    • @KathyHesterVeganRecipes
      @KathyHesterVeganRecipes  21 день тому

      That unfortunately is a printer issue and I’m not good with them. Cheryl says to turn off then on and maybe the memory is buffering. If so maybe give it extra time.

      I have severe anaphylactic reaction. At least with the ninja creami I can eat healthy and safely. Did you know that dates and all dried fruits have sulfites as a preventative. For person living with allergies like me, this allergy gave me anaphylactic reaction
      Put Maple sirop will be my substitute

      @1auntievenom 21 день тому

      Yes, some dried fruits contain sulfites, which are inorganic salts used to preserve food and extend shelf life. Dried fruits like apricots, peaches, apples, and pears are usually heavily sulphited, while dates, prunes, figs, sultanas, and raisins may be sulphite-free. @jocelynemaurice4001

      @@jocelynemaurice4001 Maple syrup should work great in all the recipes, plus you can use applesauce and canned pears in juice as a sweetener too!
