looking at this years version of a 99 overall my player it finally seems like they have you player be well rounded ans not so role playerish at 99 this year

80 the sweet spot
I'm not a shooter so 93 def rebound, 94 or 95 dunk with 82-85 layup, Block at least 90, strength at 70-75, speed max, vertical 85 Stamina at least 95. Speed with ball 70 plus, freethrow 75 maybe 78 and so on . I want a 2 way athlete finisher with major rebound and defense!
Facts it’s nothing worst a big runs into two good rebounding builds and the PF can’t help on the boards
And a jumper. You can’t have an only inside PF in random rec. we already know the center not shooting the ball. Just a liability
Same thing I said anyone saying under 90 on a pf don’t play rec unless you use the cap breakers this year
I’d drop my steals to a minimum to get bronze interceptor and use those points for more interior and perimeter defense
Tweaked mine off of KD template, basically KD but with defense, 6'10, 90 standing dunk and strength. And a 89 driving for fun.
Idk being a 6’9 PF i wouldn’t put the steals that high and i definitely wouldn’t put all them points on the free throw but I’m leaning more towards a bron build than KD and I’d also lower the wingspan
Free throw is only 1 point to max it so it never matters every year
Looks like they really favor guards < 6'4 this year. You can get so many more attribute points
I would try to see about going 6’10 and getting a 92 or 93 middy for gold deadeye and hof set shot specialist. Then go 83 3pt for bronze limitless range
Me personally I’m dropping the free throw to a 75 and brining up the rebound ratings along with mid range you never need all them badges to shoot decently
The jumpshot animations change and you have alot less ball handling at 6'10. Something to keep in mind.
If it's like last year, Wing jumpers where a lot better compare to 6'10+

They gave Paolo Banchero’s animations into 2k25 for 6’10”+ players. As well as having KD’s animations, which are which is VERY quick and smooth this year.

I made a 6’9 “Balanced Wing” shades of T-Mac, Brandon Miller, and OG Anunoby. This build can do everything. 6’9 might be the wave this year pause
Because of how rare you get block, i would lower the block and just focus on good positioning and good contests. I'd pick up the agility and rebound though, or even pass acc.

Past few years I always try to make a bron type player with good driving, decent shooting and good defense looks like I can be very flexible this year

wow a 6'9 do it all cant wait for everybody to use the same do it all builds from 6'6-6'10 at every position makes only sooo fun cant wait for 2k to die after a few months cuz everyone is on the same build at it gets super boring.

I would go 92 driving dunk 89 standing dunk cap break both for gold poster ,abd gold rise up. Lol you tripping thinking that being in motion means it's always a driving dunk its not. That's not true. I played with a 92 standing dunk with a 94 driving on a 6'9 in 24 , and there's many times that I caught the ball in motion and rise up pops up. The pass acc straight. I would take the wingspan down to 6'11 put so you can get a 92 mid range,and a 83 3pt. Cap break the 92 mid range to 93. Defense I would go at least 85 on the perm , steal cant go up that much on a 6'9 so I would go 79 on steal , try aim for 68 block. Max speed, hit the tresh for accel you need. I would gamble no strength so 73 hits a threshold. And i'd go 79 on the vert abd cap break that.

So let me get this straight more than likely post fades are tied to mid-range mid-range for a 6'9 maxes at 89 so you can't even get a 90 post fade as a 6'9 small forward 🤡

@@404Hoodrich look at 2k now. Centers and pf walking around at 6’8 with maxed out steal and block. Can shoot the 3 and dunk. Dribble like the forwards. 25 gonna be the same 2k just look different cosmetically

@@404Hoodrich not sure yet. KD’s animations are quick, smooth and very realistic this year. On top of that, the gameplay seems to show a more realistic dribbling style where you can actually hesi and create a shot
