@@lifesAtrip513 well I think you've been lied to. They're fun cars for sure. I don't know what you'd consider fun though. My E90 is tuned, on coilovers and has been pretty fun for me.

@Tedward Backroad etiquette! This is the thing so few understand, and I'm so happy that you do. Your videos are how-not-to-be-a-dick 101. Even though you started with a good mindset, I'm happy to see your etiquette evolve over the years of watching even more so. Cheers.
Love your videos and how knowledgeable you are about the different cars you drive. Curious if you've ever looked at a 3.0 Lincoln MKZ AWD. Most underrated sleeper imo especially for what it is
@@jordanhill4870 yeah I'm in my twenties and if they didn't redesign the front end I wouldn't even consider one bc that mustache grille just screams boomer mobile to me. But yeah 400hp in the 3.0s make for a surprisingly fast American land yacht
Good job, buddy! I do like BMW as a brand and have much respect for it. That being said, the criticism that I myself have is the break pedal. I find it to firm. Not sure if that particular model has that word break pedal but the SUVs do have them. I think from engineering standpoint they can do something better. Again, this is my opinion.
10:40 Have you made a video where you talk a bit more in-depth about these things? I know of the highway etiquette one, but I'd love to hear more about how to drive a car fast and safe, especially as I've only been driving for 2 years.
I love that moment we as drivers have when you're just chilling in granny mode and then you see someone else bombing down the road and you're like hell yeah initiate ape mode and then you're bombing too lol
that's how i am. i'll be chilling in the right lane with auto start on, efficient mode, comfort suspension and valves closed coming home from work until I see someone think they have a faster car then I start pushing buttons like i'm in an airplane.
Lovely video as always, that road looks familiar, is that the backroad from winter street in Waltham leading to rt2, used to be my daily drive home, loved driving on that twisty backroad.
Imho the M treatment is just lost on these larger BMW’s, especially with how they’re driven like 90% of the time. Makes sense on a 2 or 3 series, but for a 5 series on up, an Alpina would definitely be my personal choice. Much better grand tourer with still plenty of handling chops, and aesthetically more my taste, especially in green with the multispoke rims.
have to resist the urge to call it BMW "mate" i just think the avg person buying BMWs now is different from the avg person buying BMWs 20 years ago that being said as much as I don't like the looks of the regular 8 and M8, the alpina version in green and the multispokes is killer
My mum is interested in getting a M850i or a M8/M8 Comp is the M8 worth it? The is acceleration and power boost worth an extra 40k as the top speed is null as no one realistically can go the full 190 mph

Mercedes lost me when they went with the Teslaesque center console tv screen. Huge distraction and dangerous to all pedestrians Not as bad as the tesla since Merc kept their normal speedo in the proper place in front of the driver, but bad enough to not ever buy one again. the new individual interiors are great. well always has been.

I really loves gran Coupe rear design than the traditional BMW design. It looks futuristic

Less crazy
Its not that crazy, it uses the 850's engine with a different tune to give it more power but its a more luxurious car so its a bit softer.
