She is such an amazingly informed doctor! Thank you for having this conversation. There are so few menopause conversations in our spaces. Women are entitled to live the last phase of life fully vs being told to just deal with the symptoms.
I'm so happy more and more black women are having this conversation. It's a shame it took celebrities to move the needle; however, now it is not a taboo subject to discuss 👍🏾.
This was so informative! ❤ I’m almost 32, pregnant with my 3rd daughter and I definitely need to start the habit of working out after I deliver to prepare for what’s ahead. My mom/grandmother/aunts were all perimenopausal in their mid-late thirties.
And yes doctor Kendra is very good at explaining all those medical concepts! This is my first time understanding anything about menopause. Well done!👍🏾
This show is so amazing! I love the Mamas! I am 42 and definitely perimenopausal. This show made me feel like I can face this new phase of my life with some healthy tools.
My first time at the Mama's Den and I loved it. Glad to see we (woman of color) are now holding this discussion. Definitely sharing this with my sisters...47 years young Moms of 8 ❤
This was such an informative conversation!!!! Dr. Kendra was thorough with all of her explanations and you all asked all of the questions I wanted answers to. Great episode.
I needed this. I am the wueen of hydration and moisturizerization and couldn’t understand why I felt so rough. Not ashy but rough. Thank you bout this entire segment
I remember having really bad hot flushes at 35. I'm talking every half hour or so. I've had irregular periods since then but the hot flushes eventually stopped. I'm 40 now and wooooo chile, there's so much more going on. Being a woman is something else
Great episode ladies. Thanks Dr. Kendra for the helpful information on this topic. In regard to more resources, here’s a link for further menopausal Q&A and women’s health insight in general. I like the idea of sharing with each other, all the tips that we come across so that we can be better educated about what our current and future health looks like. m.ua-cam.com/video/I3hPVrywGbw/v-deo.html
