I'm glad to finally have found a video of the 30 gallon tank in use. Not many out there on it and very few show it working. Just ordered one the other day, should be here in a day or 2. Can't wait for it to get here, and to see your next update on it!
Nice review. I do think I need to say something though. The ground clamp needs to go between the storage tank and the mower. When pumping fuel the spark danger is between the nozzle and the tank. Using an earth ground will not stop this spark.
We used the larger type of container in automotive shops for pulling fuel out of fuel tanks before dropping them. Made them lighter and easier to handle. Then you can pump the fuel back in when you’re done.
Another good review! Another UA-cam creator I am following just received some garden fabric from Vevor. They are putting in a huge garden and we really happy to get a product from Vevor to try, they already have plans to purchase some other items from them.
Hi Andrew great review. I am loving what Vevor has available. Everything you have demoed seems pretty good starting with the out door kitchen. 👍👍❤️❤️🇨🇦
Nice review, Andrew. I am always leery about inexpensive Jerry cans. I chose to go with Gelg when I replaced my plastic 5-gallon gas cans, and again when I first started to need to keep diesel fuel on hand when I bought my first tractor. They are somewhat expensive (about $60 each), but they are the same cans that are manufactured for NATO use. In this case, I chose to 'buy once, cry once'. They are built like a tank and will probably outlast me! At roughly $250, that fuel cart looks pretty tough to beat if it lasts! Take care and God Bless.
I bought on of these. Before I used it, I ordered a couple of gas tank sealer kits and lined it. So far so good. Next, i ordered black 3/4 gas hose to replace the cheap stuff that came with it.
Andrew, I may have missed something regarding the grounding strap since they don’t have a copy the user’s manual online. But I would think the grounding strap should be used between the pump and the equipment being fueled to eliminate any static discharge between those two objects. Also the webpage states the tank itself made of 201 stainless steel. We look forward to your videos every week.
Awesome, didn't know it was stainless, that's even better. The manual that came with it said to ground to good earth. Grounding to equipment makes sense.
I've been looking into a 30 gallon caddy I think im going to give this brand a shot. One thing ive noticed is metal jerry cans have been leaking alot recently from different videos on youtube. I always use the VP racing plastic cans that I've stored gas in for about a month and I've never had a single drop from a leak. They are technically 5 gallon cans but you can fit about 6 gallons in them. They obviously get heavy but I put one into my car today in the garage and no leaks again. A caddy just seems like the way to go to fill anything from cars to mowers, boats and whatever else especially since you can siphon. Great video im going to try it out
As always, another quality video, your skill and knowledge about so many things highly compliments your ability to objectively and TECHINALLY review products. I am curious if you ever did a review on the wifi endoscope, a product I am very interested in? The Amazon reviews on it are kinda all over the place, but I trust your opinion a lot.
Great review. I do have to chime in on the ground clamp. It needs to attach to the unit that is being fueled. Thanks again for another helpful video. 👮🏻♂️Chip
Nice review, Andrew. The storage cart looks pretty nice! I need something different for the tractor. My 5 gallon cans are a pain, and that may do the trick! I'll keep an eye out to see how it holds up for you. Thanks!
Great video. Love the idea of one large container and not five or six five gallon containers. Heck for the price of new fuel containers it's almost more economical to go with the large 35 gallon. Just a plastic can is $30 in our area.
I have that same tank but last years model without the front casters. It is made from stainless steel according to their website. I have a number of items from Vevor and am happy with all of them. Are they the best made? No but they do the job. Their prices are better than most other manufacturers of similar quality.
Great products. I have one of their 58 gallon units for diesel that's enclosed in the heavy duty plastic box. It's a 12V unit with pump, filter, standard fuel hose and nozzle. It does require a 12V power source, and comes with a long power cable with typical alligator clamps. 95% of the time it sits in the shop, but is easily picked up with the tractor bucket to put in the truck or the back of the Mule/Ranger.
I'm surprised they did not provide 90 & 45 Connectors for the Hose coming off the top of The Pump. That will be a Failure point. I'd add a Filter too. Thanks Andrew. Mike M.
For the raw steel I'd like to see, Archoil 6200 g it's supposed to stabilize, condition, and prevent corrosion. edit + bond the ground to both ground and the appliance you are filling! Static charge is just that: static in position. Let the appliance; generators, mowers, etc equalize to the tank and to ground.
Hey Andrew, nice video 👍🏻👍🏻. Just a suggestion for another video. Oxy-acetylene braze the filler spout to do away with the press fitted leak. This would make a good repair and safety precautions in welding something that had gas in it🤔

You trusted those ramps way too much lol. I would also like to see some kind of strap or something for the nozzle to hold it in place. Because if you are using the entire length of the hose, be nice to make sure the nozzle doesn't pop out while pumped the fuel
The jerry can is a neat bit of engineering (yes, the original design process was exhaustive, there's some great videos on the history of it), but the flexible metal spouts are not made like they were even 30 years ago, let alone during WWII. In my lifetime, I have never had one last. My best solution has been to rip that flexible portion off the main piece that locks to the can, and replace it with a piece of 1.25" rubber fuel hose. Then, rip the tip off of the flexible metal crappy spout and slip it into the other end of the soft rubber fuel hose. Secure both ends with a proper CRIMPABLE EAR CLAMP. Don't use a damned screw clamp, they just cut your hands, get in the way, and come loose over time. The good thing about this fix is that you can make your hose whatever length you want, and you can even install a petcock near the tip to meter your fuel as needed.
