Great video. I bought two. I wonder how long it will take for the inside to rust living in Florida. I found that every time I fill my truck with gas , I fill a 5 gallon can of fuel then dump that it the vevor till its full then top it off as needed. Beats the heck out of toting that big heavy tank to the station.

for getting in and out of your pu truck. weld on a couple lengths of 1/4 in by 4 inch wide and a good foot long to two sides with holes in them to hook up a couple D rings. then any hoist will do the job.
wrap the fuel hose around the hand truck handle.

Great video. I just went through 6 days without power after Hurricane Beryl and even though I have a generator, the repeated stress of finding gas with six 5-gallon cans was a huge problem and inconvenience. I went through 70 gallons of gas in 6 days and had to refill the cans 3 times. I was going to buy two of the 35 gal Caddy's to be ready for the next storm, but I have been hesitant based on reviews regarding problems with the pump binding. You put those worries to rest. Thanks for showing how to fix that issue.

Thanks for the video. My one question is: what do I do with the ground wire?

It attaches to a metal part of what you are filling.

Sehr gutes Video👍

for the float that will never sink use cork.
those outboard motors from decade back with the metal removable fuel tanks, used a wine bottle sized cork.

I have this idea of using my 18v Makita drill to crank it. Need to make a sturdy adapter . I ordered one today .Mostly because I want to store ethanol free gas and its a station 15-20 minutes from me. Ethanol as we know is hard on lawn equipment. I also got the 35G as I figured I'd fill it to 32G. I plan to use my harbor freight lift table, then car ramps to load and unload it

The hand crank is pretty effortless and delivers pretty quickly.

Wow there is no way I could unload one of these alone. 5 gallon cans are best for my application

Hi. Great, educational, video. I'm looking at this same caddy. Have you had any issues with it since you made the video? Would you recommend it or maybe another brand? Thanks again. Have a blessed day. 👊

I have not had any problems with the caddy. It was just put to good use supplying our fuel after a hurricane and was very reliable. I do not care for the plastic fuel cap - great potential for cross threading. I temper my dislikes with the cost of the unit and I really can't complain.

that play in the crank handle is UN-acceptable!!
and there should be a ground connection on the tank it’s self. weld on a 1/4-20 nut. close to the pump mount.
Ground everything, and a good cable to ground to what ever you are pumping fuel into. or filling from.
. only three thing you must know.
    safety, safety, ssfety.

The front wheels are too small. They screw into small spot welded nuts . Mine bent & the weld broke. The gas gauge never worked. As you can see the pump is hard to crank., (Notice the crank position change). The rear wheels on mine would not turn freely when the axle nut was tight. . I tossed the pump and gauge, Replaced the front wheels with 3" casters. ( Metric size 10 shank ) Big washers and double nuts. Rounded the shoulder on the axles so they'd not contact the hub and got a battery powered pump with custom extension and check valve. It now rolls good & the DC Volt transfer pump is SOOooooo much better.

for as much as they want for these fuel caddy's, there should NOT be a U-fix, problem.
