Yessss to all of this hair, makeup, the luscious locs ALL OF IT!!!!! I’m a little past the 5 month look and it is legit a journey. Your tips are working for me. Thank you.
Your locs look beautiful ! I agree with you on misting the hair. I'm only 1 month into my journey. I mist with water daily and seal with a light not heavy oil. I have amazing budding 😊. Frizz & budding are signs of progress.
I am going into five months loc journey and mist my hair daily with Rosewater and Aleo Vera juice. I add oils to the mix as well. I use Aussie 24hr Holding Mousse and JOJOBA Oil to do my retwist; most of them last for a month, and the ones in the nap of my neck, just won't stay no matter what I do. I started with a two-strand twist and I went back and braided the ones in the back so they wouldn't come undone, it didn't work lol! Your locs are beautiful!
I have been using the same hair gel as you and I agree about retwist lasting longer. Based on this video sounds like I need to water my hair more! KEEP EM COMING 💚💛🖤
Yesss, that gel does help with my in-between retwists last a little longer & I definitely mist/wet/over saturate (sometimes)/shower steam my locs daily....I sweat in my head first, so my roots seem to always be moist which causes my locs to frizz & most times tangle together in between twists...they just do whatever they wanna do sometimes, lol! 1yr loc'd -April 1st 🥳

Yay 🥳 how exciting that’s a great accomplishment! Not too far behind you!!!
The sweat probably helps lock it fast because of the salt. Just like how sea water helps the hair lock faster.
When do you water your hair after a retwist? I am about 3 months into my journey and my retwist are not staying.
Like a week after my retwist once my hair started to frizz up at the roots. My retwist didn’t last long at 3 months either.
@@xclusivetina okay thank you! When did yours start to last longer?
Around 6-7 months !
How did u start your dreads ?
Comb coils
What is them on the tip of your locks?
Loc Sprinkles!
Mist your hair with Glycerin and Rose water. You won't even have to mist everyday becuz a little goes a very long way
I tried rose water before without glycerin and it didn’t do much. I just order one with glycerin so hopefully it helps. Thanks!!
