Both are beautiful guns. I have both myself. But I got the other version on both. I got the Rival Gold and Grey version and I have the Mete SFT which is smaller the your SFX. The reason why is because they look and feel very similar. I'm going to put a silencer on the Mete Sft. But again they are all both beautiful guns. Love them
I just picked up the Grey rival for my first pistol, little disappointed cuz I just seen they're releasing all steel frames models and a stainless steel model looks sweet. My dad wants to get a canik but doesn't want to spend the 500+ so I'm trying to figure out which would be best for him
I have the tp9sa all black, i put a gold threaded barrel, mag well, and gold trigger on it, its pretty sick, but was thinking about trying a better one for competition, im stuck between these 2
Oh man. I really had problems understanding the slang you talk about. But also love the canik guns and I want to buy the pro version. Greetings from Bavarian
New sub. Great content! Just what I was looking for. I just got the black Rival and my buddy was wanting the SFX Pro. After watching this, he is for sure. Thanks.

Competition gun as your first pistol ? Baller move. The Steel Canik is over 40 ounces empty so if you plan on carrying youre better off with the polymer rival unless you want a 3lb gun pulling your pants off
Considering the Pro as my first Canik. I want a gun that is silencer capable even though I do not have a silencer yet and I think that would be a good choice. Seem to be good value for the money.
Mete pro is better if you plan on putting a holosun EPS or rmsc on it but if you want more options the rivals a bettee choice. The EPS sits so pow and looks badass on my Mete pro though
I really like the looks of lightning cuts on the slides of pistols. But as one who carries concealed 98% of the time, I cannot help but to wonder, what is the probability of if in a situation, as the pistol is getting drawn, fabric or whatever could get caught or snagged on the lightning cut which would in a few different ways potentially throw off your draw? Also, not trying to sound like a gun (biatch), but the other potential downside of lightning Cuts is that of course it ups the chances of dirt and whatnot to get into the internals which has all of its own problems. Like some people, when it comes to guns, I typically don't go real cheap. And even though these guns do not cost as much as a Sig or Glock, I always keep my guns clean. Any thoughts?
Got a question for you. You got the SFX. I just ordered the SFT Pro. I went back and forth over which one to get and just went with the SFT. The only difference that I see in the two is the barrel length. The SFX has a 5.75" barrel and the SFT has a 5" barrel. I don't believe you could go wrong with either one. But in your personal opinion, how much difference do you think it makes?
@@MeCanik79 with most ammo, not a meaningful difference at all since a 5" bbl will get you comfortably into any expansion threshold. Now if you use stuff like underwood loaded XDs or the other copper non expanding stuff, then the SFX is the way to go.
Unless I'm wrong, the Rival pistol was the answer by Canik, of fixing the problem of some people not liking that when adding a red dot, they lose their rear sight. By removing the plate to add the red dot. And well, I am one of those people. It makes not a lot of sense to me. That has become one of my top search criterias with the Caniks pistol.

The older models go for $300-$400 if you look in the right places i got mine for $350 mete sft

@@RedEyePergo beat me to it
The polymer Canik Rival is a much better carry option than the steel frame variant

lets talk about the steaks in the background? Great video, subbed.
Hello, Canik Mete Pro, did you install a silencer? are you satisfied? What silencer brand do you recommend? respects..
I did not install a suppressor yet.
I think you should get the Mete Pro first. That way you can look forward to getting the Rival soon afterwards..
I’ve got the mete sft pro. It’s my absolute favorite handgun.
Canik SFX Rival vs Canik SFX Mete Pro
Not to be confused with the Canik SFT Mete Pro which has a shorter slide.

Does the mete pro fit in the same mete sfx holster??
Not sure. I can find out Saturday
The mete sfx and the mete pro holster are the same. So the factory mete sfx holster will fit the mete pro.
@@wellsirletsshootit4572 awesome thank you man
Canik very very nice good bro !🔥Canik Invests Too Much in Technology The World Is Not Aware !!!⚡️⚡️⚡️
Do you know if you can use the threaded barrel in the Rival?
The pro barrel will not work. The ejector is on the top of the pro and the side of the rival.
Ya saving for a pro sfx I am a advocate against noise pollution ❤respect your neighbors
Appreciate the review. New sub for you buddy!
I think I’ve found my new favorite UA-cam channel
I picked up a TP9sfx in 2018, I got a Mete SFX Pro on Monday!
I got the METE SFX Pro. Love it! Got a EPS 6moa coming for it tomorrow morning. Eventually getting a Ca$h 9K for it.

You lose the rear sight on the rival. You don’t on the Pro.
Great channel name
Just the video been looking for
🙏❤️👍👍👍👍
Looks like you loose the rear sight on the rival if you put a red dot on it. The pro keeps it.
I almost got the rival but I want the mete pro really really bad.
Came in rambling 😂
