Mahina is the biggest guide for me for years. Felt amazing to get to know her more deeply and hear her life stories. Thank you for this beautiful talk❤️
You’re both so wise. I loved this conversation and your chemistry together. Definitely have her back on the podcast sometime to chat about more spiritual topics, rituals, and culture! ❤️
Love the discussion on noticing synchronicity through the beauty way. Especially the notes about co-creation with the universe through expression of language, movement, symbolism (whether personally or universally significant), the artist inherent in all beingness, etc. Lots of connections and a-ha moments coming through 🙌
Super strange.. when I was 4 I was in the OKC bombing and my mom couldn’t find me for 7 hours… my maiden last name is Mowdy and I just met a guy who kept talking about the Philippines yesterday because his wife lived there. All of those things are talked about within the first 13 minutes that’s crazy. I also always think I must have been a hard labor working male in a more recent past life due to the way my hands look it’s just a strange feeling I’ve always had as well. I’d love to have a palm reading and a QHHT session as well. I also see many many angel numbers as well as have numerous deja vu experiences. I can’t wait to find out more about myself as I keep going through this life. What an amazing episode ❤
This podcast is so beautiful, I kept getting goosebumps when hearing everything she has to say🥺😮
I have never heard anyone mention anything about rites-of-passage involving anyone older than a mom. To hear about how we have none for becoming an elder or how to even BE an elder made 🤯🤯🤯! I have been feeling this big time. When you’re young you have all sorts of examples on how you might want to dress/behave/just be, but after a certain time in life, it seems we are just discarded and devalued. I would love to step into that space of sharing any wisdom I may have gained in my life but feel like no one would listen anyway so what’s the point. How do you get to a place where you feel and know your value when you’re a woman past baby-bearing? Anyway, thanks for addressing that.
❤❤❤❤
the way this talk synchronistically placed itself into my life at the perfect moment is actually insane & enough to keep me coming back! Thank you both for holding this space ^.^
Omg please look at me and tell me what I need please….. but fr for real……I have this buzzing in my chest.
thank you for your prayers mahina 🫀🐢
Thank you for this medicine 🙏🤍
I haven’t finished listening in, but wow 😳✨as well, around @38:54 when the man speaks to Mahina as an owl and tells her to remember the 6 original directions, I just feel maybe my uncle is right that we, Hmong, are probably related (or have more connection) to the natives or First Nations in America. (well to explain the significance of 6, on our alters we divide the backboard into 6 “corners” and two feathers, from the chicken we use as offering to our ancestors, in each “corner” that signifies our 12 “souls”)
Great wisdom from Mahina! Just wish the host didn’t refer back to her personal story every time Mahina was channeling wisdom codes!!
agreed
Sooo so good
it's strange to call yourself a "Hawaiian Mystic" but never mentioning a kahuna or even a kupuna that taught from the view point of Hawaiian culture. No mention of even kapu and how that is handled in Hawaiian culture. Much of what was talked about is just found in New Age spirituality that has been appropriated from other cultures. aumakua are way more than just an "animal spirit" guide or whatever she called them. they're our ancestors. they are our protectors, our guides. they are literally part of us and make us who we are. to water them down to just an animal spirit shows how little she understands about Hawaiian culture. I understand wanting to learn a culture you are a part of, but please, please, please learn from kupuna and those who are actually involved in communities and hawaiian spirituality.
sincerely, a kanaka maoli
